The fae moved closer to him, rather smoothly. She pretending like it was just for warmth, but to be honest she just liked the feel of his fur against hers. She watched his head go onto his paws and she cocked her head at him. "Yeah, what about you?" The fae asked, letting her tail flick behind her, when it went to her side it touched his tail.

Mako looked up from the ground. He smiled kindly, and slightly shrugged. "Thanks. I had some training a long while back." He said, a kind look in his eyes. He thought about his past for a moment, then shook his head, clearing his thoughts.

Shade smiled. "I prefer the rainy days." He said. He could feel her coat against his, brushing and he liked it. He liked being so close to her, but he hadn't realize how close they'd come to each other until their tails brushed. He raised his head, startled to look at her. But, again, since they were close as he looked up, he accidentally brushed his muzzle against hers'. His eyes were darker as he looked at her. Shade hadn't notice he had not removed his face, so their muzzles where still touching. His heart raced and he knew he had to move, but he couldn't.

Echo blushed lightly as their muzzle's touched and retreated as smooth and calm as she could pull off, then she laid her head on her paws, glancing up at Shade. Her blush was fading but if you looked hard enough you could still see it. She left her body in the same spot, and continued to flick her tail, and had only moved her face. "Oh.. The rain is.. Peaceful. But it makes me feel unprotected, you cannot smell predators in the rain, the rain covers their scent." Echo said, frowning lightly. Echo wanted to shove her face into his fur and feel his warmth and his fur wrapped around her like a blanket of comfort but she controlled herself and continued to glance up at the larger male.

Shade felt dissapointed when she moved away, but he remained quiet. Still, he was content as their tails brushed, and before he knew he had scooted closer to her, feeling the warmth of her body radiating onto his. He smirked lightly as he saw her blush. Then he noticed he was kind of light-headed. A foolish smile too. He shook his head lightly, returning to their conversation. "I don't care for predators." He shrugged. "There still hasn't been one who has surprised me. The rain-" he stopped for a moment. "Has something special." He smiled, looking at her, meeting her eyes. "Just like taking a sun bathe on a cold sunny day."

The fae waited patiently, until the sun finally showed that two hours had passed. It was a swift passing, not a dragging slow like she thought it would be. Making her way to South's den, she sat outside it casually, not bothering to wake him. A hunt could wait when it came to a good rest, dragging feet where never good for quick maneuvers.
