Partway up the canyon, a screech was heard. "a vulture" Mocho said. "Should we follow it, and get a decent meal?" he asked, licking his lips.

Cinder nodded, concentrating on getting up the slope. She slipped a few feet back down but continued on.

Mocho turned to the direction on the bird and took off running. He scared the bird of prey away and sat down next to a half eaten deer. "This deer wandered off. It wasn't fit to live in the canyon" then he started to feast

Cinder padded beside him and looked down at the deer, she usually didn't eat things that she hadn't killed. She sat down and waited for the alpha to finish.

Mocho stood up with a full stomach. The deer wasn't as good as the fresh ones, but it was better than nothing. Again, he looked at the foot prints and found the direction to go. "We don't even need to look at the prints," he said "all we need to go is up." He started up again.

Leeri giggled and dove under water looking for Telix.

Cinder nodded and followed behind him looking around, he had never been here.

Telix opened his eyes underwater and smiled, watching her.

Leeri turned around and saw Telix, she smiled and swam towards him.

The blazing sun became hotter and hotter. Finally the top was in sight. "I see the top" Mosko said. "Its still pretty far up, it'll probably take an hour to conquer it"
