The tall bay overo slowly came to a stop as she realized that both of the horses in the water were looking at her. Her ears went back, not so sure if she'd be welcomed. At least it looked like they were both friendly. Cress was really starting to get thirsty, she'd have to take her chances and hope that the stallion wouldn't go all crazy over the fact she was in heat. The strong scent of it made Cress feel slightly sick, she had no idea how stallions were attracted to it. Cress let out a low huff, and covered the rest of the distance to the pond in a quick trot. She stopped just a few feet from the edge and considered Caspian quietly, he was just massive.

The paint dove stared ahead at the mare curiously, her ears that were pricked falling back into a relaxed spot. She knew it was unlikely that she would be Caspian's only mare, and that she would have to share the large buckskin with other mares too. Thinking for a moment, she gently nudged the stallions shoulder, beginning to trot towards the new mare. She could help the large stallion have a herd, maybe..She wasn't always the best with making 'friends'. She stood a little ways inside the water, leaving a few stride room between herself and the new mare. Her brown eyes took the mares coat in, taking a liking to its color. She nickered warmly to Cressa, pricking her ears calmly.

Cress took her eyes away from Caspian for a moment to turn them on the paint, she allowed her ears to dip forward into a more relaxed position and nickered back, then covered the small distance between her and the pond and dipped her muzzle into the water to drink. She blew out softly as she gulped in the cool water, enjoying the sensation of it traveling down her throat. After a few moments Cress raised her head from the water and glanced quickly at Caspian before looking back at Phobe. She wasn't really one who was much for talking, instead she cautiously took a step into the cool water and reached her head out towards Phobe, the pond didn't look too deep, she should be okay.

The paint dove smiled lightly, letting her head glance back at Caspian as Cressa drank. She would not interupt her; besides, she looked thirsty. Phobe shook out her white mane, turning back to the bay paint and watched her step closer. In return, Phobe let her small muzzle tap against Cressa's in a friendly way. "Hello." She added on, blinking her brown orbs clamly.

Cressa glanced once more at Caspian before replying to Phobe, "Hello. I'm Cressa, but call me Cress." She took another hesitant step into the water, not much liking the feeling of it on her hooves, nor how it splashed up against her legs, "I guess I should really like water right?" After a moment she added, "Like watercress, because my name is Cress, sorry if you didn't get that."

Phobe smiled, watching the mare take a step further into the water, and pricked her ears at the bay paint mares words. "I'm Phobe. Nice to meet you, Cress." She nickered calmly, smiling as she listened to the fae's words. She stared curiously at Cress' name joke, not understanding. "It's alright. If you don't want to stand in the water, you don't have to." She said next, smiling calmly still.

Caspian watched as the mare approached, noticing Phobe move towards her and exchange words. Caspian tossed his head, moving towards the two. He remained calm, his harks pricked and lips upturned in a friendly smile. "Hello, Miss." He greeted warmly, bobbing his head slightly. The massiv stallion had heard their conversation, and decided to introduce himself. "I'm Caspian." He said. Caspian hoped Cress wouldn't run off, as most mares did as they expected stallions to be mean or brutal, and suspected she wouldn't, due to the fact that the pretty bay paint had already ventured this close.
