Bat slowed to let her catch up and he smiled running again.

i catch up to Bat, and tag him. "gotcha!" i say proudly, standing tall. i smile as Star runs up beside me.

umm, duchess had a foal, then it died, then she found a filly, and she escaped with bat back to the wild, kevin and ree found a beautiful place where i think they live now.

Bat just stopped and stared happily.

Ree grazed by the pool, listening to the waterfall. Well, she wasn't really grazing, just pretending. She hadn' been eating a lot for a few days now, and had no idea why. Something was bugging her, but it was so strange not knowing what it was. It was an odd feeling.

Shameless, the now three year old colt, sprinted down the steep, grassy hill. His cherry bay coat glistened in the sunshine, and his pitch black mane flew about wildly in the cool, breezy wind. He came to a skidding halt as he noticed something in the distance. He then relized it was the rocky terrain he had come to when he had first entered this land.

Fame watched the Bat and Duchess go. Anger flashed in his eyes, but it soon went away and burned in his heart. He turned in circles in his stall until he got dizzy and swayed on his four limbs. He kicked with all his might on any part of the stall, as hard as he could. His terrifying scream rang out. He wanted out. Away. To home.

Kevin:
" You okay Ree?" I asked her. I nudged her flank, but not in that way. I nuzzled her neck and knew she was not feeling good.

[[ Silence. ]]

Ree lifted her head and looked at him. "Yeah. Well, no. But I do no know what is wrong with me...it is just so odd." She flicked an ear back and sighed.

Kevin:
" Is it your stomach?" I asked her. She just wasn't ever hungry. I was worried ,deeply worried

[[ Silence. ]]

"No, I feel fine, physically. Just not mentally, if that is how you want to put it. I feel sort of depressed, and lost." Ree shook herself and looked away for a moment or so, then turned her soft, brown gaze back to him.
