All i know is that duchess had a foal named faith...



Duchess~

I lift my head from grazing to find that Faith was gone. "Faith?" i call. "Faith!" i run to Dailey, who was my only friend right now. "Dailey, Faith is gone." i say crying. "i.. I don't know what to do."

[[ Silence. ]]

Shameless immdiately looked up at the mare. His exotic and bright green gaze locked with hers. It took a moment befre he found words to speak. "Hi..," He was about to speak when he noticed the other mare who had come up. He nodded a small hello to her, then switched his gaze back to Dream. "Could you help me? If you can't tell, I am rather beat up. I have so many terrible and deep wounds, an it aches so much." At first glance, the young colt would have seemed rude, but he is actually very open and generous.

Dream Wish

The Mare smiled at the colt, swallowing a couple more mouthfuls of water. Sure. Did you use any herbs yet? Dream looked him over, wincing as if she were herself in pain. How did this happen? Did someone rough you up? She hasn't seen this many wounds since she's been atacked by a cougar, and that was a long time ago. Well, maybe the humans did it, but she hasn't seen any humans actually make any horses bleed this much.

Shameless watched her quietl until she asked him some questions. He hesitated, before replying, "No, I really do not know anything of herbs." He slowly climbed out of the water, and he flinched at the pain when he moved, as infection had started to set into some of his worse wounds. "Well, at first I was attacked by a couple of wolves then humans tried to capture me. I feel down a steep, but small cliff and cut myself a lot on the sharp rocks." The talking had worn him out, so he huffed and settled down at the bank of the pond. He then looked to Arili. "All help is welcome."

Dailey:
" calm down.. we'll find her!" I said and I walked/ ran around calling he name. I nicker and whinny. At one point I canter. Calling her name

" okay. What do you need help with?" I asked cooking at his many cuts and wounds,

Duchess~

"Faith!" i call with her. i was heart broken, she was the cutest filly i ever had. she was my daughter, my family. "it's no use." i say to Dailey at one point. "she's nowhere near the barn. she has to be in the forest."

Faith~

"mom!" i call again. i tire out, and lay down. i fall asleep then wake suddenly as i hear a low growl behind me. i turn around and see two bright yellow eyes staring back at me. the animal comes out of the shadows, and i see it's wild mountain lion. "Ah!" i shriek, loud enough to hear for miles.

Dailey:
I hear a cry for help. Had to be Faith. I dart that way immediately. I knew she was in danger. I run past the field and into the woods. I call "FAITH, WHERE ARE YOU?!" I couldn't remember which way the shriek came from. I keep running though. I jump over a river, more like a stream. I dart my eyes around still running,

Duchess~

"Faith!" i call as i run through the forest with Dailey. i hear another shriek, but it was cut off. i push myself harder. i ran and ran, until i finally found her. i see her, on the ground. i see a mountain lion on top of her, slowly killing her. her eyes were pleading for help.

Valley:
I see Dream run another way. I follow her. Thinking she had seen something. I see the young filly and then the mountain lion. I ru faster than ever before. I snort and I jump, kicking the mountain lion in the side and it falls over. I miss hitting faith on the stomach and I snort at the mountain lion. Me now on top of it.

Duchess~

i run and help her, and slowly together we drive the mountain lion away. when we had scared it off, i returned to Faith. she was breathing slowly, and crying. i run over to her, and lower my head to nuzzle her gently. she coughs, then looks up at me.
