Lone Wolves of the Wintergreene Forest *Accepting!*

Asha joined the huddle around the rock. Every year, three wolves from each pack went to perform the bit of magic that would bring Mura's ghost back to join the celebrations. Then, the other two packs would unite in The Northern Lights Pack's camp, since it was the biggest, to hold the festivities. Asha was one of them. She huddled around the Alpha Rock, waiting for the names of her and the other two wolves to be called. She held her breath.

thunderclap looked down on asha "are you ready?" she asked

Asha examined Tara's paw. "Oh, don't worry!" she said, pulling out the thorn and tossing it aside. Out of a hole in the ground she took some ice wrapped up in human cloth. "Hold this on your sore paw for a while, and the pain should gradually go away."
She nosed over the icepack. "So, are you excited for the festival of Mura tonight?" she asked, trying to make conversation with her patient. "I hear her ghost herself is going to come down! I'm so excited! Well, I hope you feel better in time!"

"I hope so too " says |Tara. "I think i will be. Thanks for all your help "

"I most certainly am," she said, trying to conceal her excitement and turn into a dignified tone. She was so honored and happy she would whoop and dance like a pup. But, she proudly walked up onto Alpha Rock and waited silently for the names of the other two wolves that would accompany her. She couldn't belive her luck! She was going!

thunderclap smiled at asha, she was a bright wolf, thunder considered taking her on as an apprentice but decided to wait till a better time...

Tara excitedly pounced around the base of Alpha Rock. Her paw felt much better, and she was ready for the festival.

(Yes, Thunderclap has wings! The other two can be... Fawna and Brolo. I don't know... they're two random names...!)

Asha smiled back. Any moment, she'd set off...

thunderclap barked at Tara, "you ready?" ...

"Yup, Yup, Yup," she squeals excitedly

thunderclap watched as the pack gathered. she spread her wings and took flight, she flew up high enough so they could all hear her. "ok now, the wolves for the show have been chosen. they are Asha, Fawna(made up wolf) and as a last minute decision ... Tara" thunderclap landed hard and stared around "agreed?"
