The quiet jingling could be heard from down the road as the female trotted quickly back to where the rooftop was. Splashes were made as each paw hit the water, one at a time. She could vaguely see two dogs together. { Caspian and Akira } She was heading for them but she decided she didn't want to be seen. Quickly she jumped into an abandoned building. Water splashed over her fur and she shook off, still holding the pink collar in her mouth she quickly looked out of the broken windows. She decided to slip the collar on so she wouldn't loose it so she managed to slip it around her head.

Mud walked the road. He looked up and saw that he was heading in the direction of the main building. He quickly turned around and started heading in the other direction.

"Great," Caspian said, glad she was willing to take a walk with him. Rising to his paws, he padded to the staircase. He paused and looked over his shoulder to see if Akira was following. He chuckled lightly at her sneeze. "Bless you." Caspian turned and travelled down the stairs, patiently waiting for Akira at the bottom.

Akira folloWed with a smile. Her pelt seemed to glow in the bright mid-day sun.

Caspian flashed her a friendly smile. His amber eyes looked over her pretty frame, her fur glowing in the light of the sun. Caspian wagged his tail and padded around the corner of the building. "I'm taking you somewhere special," he stated, casting a sideways glance at her. "Well, I mean it's special to me," he added quickly, looking away from her.

Akira smiled. "I'm just happy to go anywhere." she said, her feathery tail wagging.

Caspian's tail wagged happily as they walked. He padded through the mud and water. He could tell he was nearing their destination. All they had was a few more steps and that's it. "You'll love it. It's—" Caspian cut himself short when he saw what he knew as his home, wrecked and damaged. He pinned his ears back and reluctantly walked forward. The docks were destroyed, falling to pieces, the once beautiful beach stirred, palm trees fallen and barren. Caspian padded to one of the destroyed docks and sat down, staring out over the sea. He let out a soft sigh. "I guess I forgot how much the hurricane actually destroyed..." he whispered. "Looks like I won't be seeing the Captain for a while."

Akira nuzzled the male, trying to comfort him.

A large sigh came from the female as she watched the German Shepherd male she had a small crush on and some other female walk by the building together. She growled lightly to herself and grumbled, "It would've never happened anyways...."
