[Nialler.]

Serinity slightly looked at him before answering, "Sure was. I heard Charlie had her kits..I wonder how the coped.."

[orpheus.]

Twig paused for a moment, before finally replying. "I hope they're okay, it would be a shame to lose newborn kits." He yawned, stretching.

[Nialler.]

"Yeah. First kits born. Although they aren't herd bred." she said, wondering who the father was.

[orpheus.]

Twig tilted his head to the side "So they could be from a rival herd. Or perhaps just loners. I don't have any quarrel with them either way." He pulled down an ear and cleaned it off.

[Nialler.]

Serinity smiled softly. "I don't care where they've come from." she felt awkward being here, yet she didn't want to go.Could it be..Serinity was falling for Twig?

[orpheus.]

Twig nodded and fluffed up his fur as he scented out fox, but ignored it as it grew fainter. He huddled closer into the bedding, to try and get warmer, and finally replied. "Me neither."

[Nialler.]

Serinity smiled before saying, "Would you like me to go?" she fluffed up her coat too.

[orpheus.]

Twig shook his head, "It's up to you." He smiled slightly, enjoying her company.

Charlie

I was curious, new comers were arriving everyday. I thought about my mate, Sparrow who remained in Dusk Herd. I sat in the winter sun, warming my ginger fur. I grunted and headed off for a while. The kits would be weaning soon, well I hoped. I grazed by the river hoping to get some peace. I hopped merrily and enjoying myself unlike the me with the kits. I leaped high and bounded everywhere. I was happy to be alone for once and laughed with glee.

Christina

A long strip of light flooded into the burrow. I was curious of course. I crawled on my belly towards it and saw a steep incline. I tried to climb up but the soft earth made it difficult. I soon grew tired and crawled back to sleep with my brother.

Barney

With my sister gone I wriggled about into a more comfortable position. I rolled onto my side, my large belly allowing me to sleep peacefully. Until my sister came back. She clambered over me, even though she could see. I grunted unpleasantly and she got off. I curled back up waiting for my mother to return.

[Nialler.]

Jack spotted Charlie and bounded over there, looking at her.

Serinity smiled slightly. "It it's okay with you, I would like to stay."
