Twig perked his long ears as another rabbit approached through the growth. "Hello," The buck leaned back towards the ground, alert of any danger. "It smells like there are a few of you." He sniffled and shivered at the cold wind, unsure what else to mention as he darted his eyes from the grass to the rabbit; surely it wasn't some kind of trap? Laying down all of his paranoia he continued kindly. "We don't mean to trespass, if that's what it seems."
Fern bunched up her muscles and fluffed out her chest fur, trying to keep the cold winter chills from her. Shivering, she narrowed her eyes at Twig's movement, normally he was the one who would stay still, but then again, they were in someone else's burrowing lands, and she too didn't want to seem suspicious, as they meant no harm. Twitching her whiskers she eyed the grass stems, making sure no foxes or predators lurked.
