Bruce felt relieved and thankful of Caina. She obviously seemed a wise wolf, knowing the auras and emotions of others. He was coming to like her, she seemed very interesting and sweet. Not like the other females around, the love-sick puppy dogs who would fall head over heals for any male that would love them back. A smile came to his face, as he was given an offer. She seemed to trust him enough, as did he. "Thank you for the offer, Caina." He did not deny, nor say yes. It was an opportunity he could take whenever he decided to. Although if he randomly entered, the pack would probably murder him right then and there if Caina didn't reach them first.

[Paranoia]

Caina kept her eyes on the Bruce. She trusted him not to hurt her or her pack, something which was rare to loners. He didn't seem to be plotting anything against her and didn't hesitate between words or wander into thought afterwards. "You are welcome. My pack is open for you to come if you choose," she thought for a moment before speaking again, "I will make sure it is safe for you to pass onto the territory," she was thinking just as he was. It had to be safe for him all around. If he was going to join she couldn't have him get attacked if he crossed. She then spoke up once again, "Even if you choose not to I hope we will continue talking like we are right now," it was almost positive in her mind that if he didn't they still would talk. She felt like she was sort of pushing it on him by continuing talking about it. A change in subject was needed, "So, how long have you been out here?" Was the question she asked, he didn't need to go into any details.

Bruce looked at Caina. "Thank you. That is very thoughtful. It would be nice to try and talk to you without being shredded to pieces." He chuckled softly, twitching his nose. His eyebrow lifted, as he tilted his head to the right. "I don't see why not. I wouldn't like if we continued to talk. I would feel very lonely if we parted for no reason at all." He paused, thinking. "And its a good feeling to be able to visit your only friend." Bruce Seeing her change the subject, he answered her, following along to flow with the conversation. "How long? Oh gosh. Quite a long time." The brute admitted, lifting his head.

He whinned, giving her a tired glare, but listening to her. He didn't know why, he just didn't want to fall asleep on her, as if he were afraid she would be gone when he woke back up. He rearanged his back legs so he was more comfortable, tucking his head under hers, but then pulling back out, licking her cheek and muzzle a few times, "fine, but only because you asked" he said with a little chuckle, curling up beside her, keeping his head beside her, watching some wolves talk for awhile, but then his tired eyes shut, and he oon dozed off, his breathing steady, his bad leg doing the usual twitch every now and then.

Caina gave a soft sigh, "It's the same circumstance for me here," she felt like she was taken too seriously sometimes. There were good and bad part about befriending the alpha of the pack you survive in and Bruce seemed to be her only real friend at the moment. The change in subject made a smile cross her face, "and how long is quite a long time? You don't seem too old," she commented. He couldn't be too much older than her, more likely that they were around the same age. Four years and younger seemed to be common. There were no hunters so finding an older wolf wasn't too rare during most other seasons this one just seemed to be against them.

Mara's eyes sparkled lovingly for her. She curled up beside him, resting her head on the ground. Her amber paws tucked under her hazel chest as she flattened her ears against her head. "I'll be here until you wake up. Don't you doubt that." She whispered, halfly to herself as she expected her mate to be asleep. "I'll won't leave your side." Her head lifted and observed her surroundings in the bright light.

Bruce smiled again. He rarely smiled, since he never spoke to anyone. "Nah, i'm not old. I have been a loner for about a year now." He said in a normal tone of voice. "How long have you been alpha? If you don't mind me asking of course. You seem about my age. I haven't seen such a young Alpha. Usually, they are old looking and very grumpy." The rouge laughed again softly, before speaking again. "And you don't seem that at all. Plus you are good-looking for your age. I am defiantly thankful i 1, met you, and 2, that you aren't a grumpy lump." Bruce, having no one to talk to, never had time to laugh and have a bit of fun. This she-wolf was growing on him.

(I wouldn't be able to give you much of a recap beside ls that Arina Caina. (I use that name sometimes. Idk why it just popped into my head) is out with Bruce, a loner.)

Caina thought for a moment, "I haven't been one too long. It's definitely changed me though," she told him, "I'd have to say a few months over a year," she thought about the young alpha, "the alpha of mountain pack is actually the same age as me, the beta of my pack is older than me, and the disease has gotten to most of the elders within the pack. I'm surprised I haven't gotten it myself," she was being honest. She was almost constantly around the disease. (I'm just going to say Grey has passed) It was less now though since a few more if her members had succumbed to the disease itself. It was a way of life, she was lucky to have not gotten it and it to be seemingly not getting much worse.

Bruce lifted his head, deciding to sit down. He looked at her, a frown on his face. He knew what that empty feeling of death felt like. Loosing a wolf you knew. It was a hollow feeling, something that Bruce always hated. "A disease? Oh, wow. I'm so sorry. Is it being stopped, or is the disease still flooding over the Pack?" He was glad Caina wasn't ill. For one, Bruce wouldn't want to loose his only friend. And also, he would be afraid of getting the deadly sickness.

Caina sat off to the side of Bruce once his bottom came in contact with the ground. "It's not getting much worse as far as I know. We are all hoping it stops by spring. It came about with the winter so it should stop by spring," she told him, her voice smooth and fairly emotionless. "We've lost a few wolves, nothing that cannot be handled. Everyone is hoping for the pups of the next generation to flourish," Caina once again let her mind wander a short moment. She had never had a mate or pups, the responsibilies she had gave her no time to try. "With spring multiple things will come," she added and eyes moved to look at him.
