((May not be on much tonight, so I appologise in advance- I have to go to sleep earlier than normal because I get my exam results tomorrow. Scary stuff. x.x))

'I supose I should start from the begining.' Jasper shifted his body so he was more comfortable. 'Its quite broing- Most wolves I know have some excitment or danger in their past, but not me.' The creamy white male offered her a smile, desperatly hoping his story wouldn't bore her. 'I was born the first son of the alpha pair, so naturally I was trained to become an alpha after my father one day. My puphood was nice- My dad wasn't around much but he kept us fed and safe, he often shouted and fought with pack members. He was very unfair and didn't really like the lower ranks.' He frowned slightly. 'I was nice to the lower ranks, of course. My dad wasn't too happy about that though.'
He sighed softly. 'My mother kept having pups- I felt sorry for her. Our healer wasn't the best of friens with my mother, and she was in a lot of pain when she had the pups.' He felt his stomach churn, remembering how his mother used to scream when she went into labour. 'But anyway- Sooki was born in the last litter of pups and she was the runt.' He smiled softly. 'You can probably tell that easy.' He flicked his long tail around him and shitfed some more. 'She was the only runt to ever survive in our pack, but the pack bullied her terribley.' He felt his lip twitch. He hated the wolves that bullied his youngest sister, the terrible things they would do flashed before his eyes and he paused for a second.
'At this time, I was moved to position of beta in my pack- Our old beta was old and was hanging to his life by a hair.' He shook his head. 'Many in my pack began to dislike me for this, because I was still so young.' He flattened his ears. 'Obviously I put a stop to my sisters bullies as any good brother, or beta would do.'
He looked past Echo, his eyes held the reflection of the moon. 'A few months later, my dad wanted to chat with me. I was told that he and another pack had decided to settle thier differences and expand their territories. I was confused as to why on earth he was telling me. Turns out that I was promised to another packs daughter- It would be us that bonded the packs together.' He glanced away and lay on the floor. 'I met her a few days later. Her name was Nadi.' His eyes flicked back to Echo. 'She looked a bit like you, but her fur was longer and lighter, Tweek has her eyes. She was very beautiful, and my friends were jelous that I had such a girl.' He looked away again, almost as if he was ashamed.
'Time went by and we became friends, then more than friends. But my dad wanted us to prove that we were mates- That our packs didn't have to worry about the truce that they held in the forms of us.'
He shrank a little and plastered his ears to his head. 'Soon, Tweek came along- It was because of a starless sky that he did. The scene was just so perfect.' He closed his eyes and sighed. 'She didn't want pups. Not then. She was so young, she wasn't ready for them.' He felt his throat tighten. 'I didn't want her to suffer as my mother did through childbirth, but if she didn't have pups-' His voice cracked. 'The packs wouldn't belive the truce still stood- An all out war would have broken out.'
The beta male flicked his tail around. 'Shortly after Tweek was born, we both realised that we wern't really in love. We were forced to love eachother- It wasn't right that we had to live this way. Tweek did have a two sisters. One died shortly after birth- The runt.' By now Jaspers throat felt clogged and sore- His voice came out as a whipser as if he found it hard to talk. 'I loved all my pups dearly, I never forget how little Shay would chase my tail, or how my precious Poppy looked so beautiful, even though she wasn't alive.'
He felt bad for telling Echo these things, and guilty for not letting anyone know that he did have more than one pup. 'Nadi told me one day that she had found true love. I was very happy for her, so we decided to leave our homes without telling anyone.' He forced his eyes open, they were glassy from the tears that simply wouldn't fall.
'I took Tweek- His mother loved him but she was attacked when she was pregnant. That's why Tweek has nerve damage andd twitches all the time. I took Tweek, it was the least I could do. I didn't want Nadi to remember when she almost lost her pups before she even had them.'
Jasper pushed himself up into a sitting position, staring blankly out into the darkness. His shoulders sagged and his ears flopped forwards. 'I knew that we loved eachother at one point, even if it were for a few weeks, maybe only a few days. I met with her new mate, he was very kind and I knew that he would take care of my two beautiful girls.' He cast his eyes downwards. 'I've not seen them since. I heard news once that they had begun a pack somewhere far away and that my girls were doing fine. They said that the alpha male was a kind soul and their pack was known for helping wolves that needed someone to care.'
He shook his head at Echo, realising how long he had spoken for. 'I'm sorry I rambled and probably bored you. But that is my past.' He leaned over and licked her ear. 'Thanks for listening.'
(Sorry for the super long post... I'm in the mood to write storys but can't at the moment. So I took it out on this post XD)
