"A high one." Kale grinned, standing up. His tail was still tucked between his legs, showing he respected Mountain, though he lifted his head to show he would fight for a rank. Not just any rank, his rank.

Axel just shrugged. "It doesn't really matter, does it?" He said, more as a comment than a question.

Mountain sighed and stood. "I'm disappointed, Kale. I thought you were better than this." He growled, showing his teeth.

"What?" Kale asked, surprised of Mountain's reply. "Alpha," he said dipping his again again for a moment before lifting it back up. "I am not trying to cause trouble or any harm, how may I prove myself worthy of a higher rank?" He asked, he really hadn't meant to start a fight, but he was used to them since when he grew as a pup, that was how one would prove worthy of a better rank.

"Fine, fine," I said with a smile. "But I'm going to take that as a yes!" I giggled.

Mountain layed down one of his ears. "Good luck if you want to take my place as alpha!" He barked, lunging at Kale. Mountain wasn't known to fight, but if he had to in order to protect his pack, he would fight until his last breath.

Axel smiled at her. "So what did you and the Alpha talk about?" He asked, not really needing to know.

"The fight. He wanted to make sure everyone was okay," I told him.

"Alpha" Kale said when he was knocked down. He simply pushed him off and stood up again. "I want to make this clear that I am not trying to cause trouble. Shall we settle this like gentlemen and make it nothing personal? Please remember I hold you in the highest respect, Alpha." He dipped his head, if Mountain wanted to fight so would he. Lifting his head he glared at Mountain in a strong stance, he respected him and wasn't going to cause serious harm, but ranks were usually settled by fights. He knew Mountain was Alpha for a reason, but he wanted that spot. He growled silently to himself, in his thoughts he sounded greedy when he really wasn't. He shook his head and focused on Mountain. "Your move." He said, letting Mountain attack first, other than the lunge he did just before, of coarse.

Axel smiled and chuckled a little bit. "He's a good Alpha." He sighed, laying down.

Mountain glared at Kale and ran at him. Before they collided, he slid into his legs.
