Leaf knew he didn't give a crap about her so she sighed and dropped her tail, walking away. He liked Magnum more. She was friends with Magnum, but was Magnum a favorite?

Notch turned to see Leaf walking away. He sighed and got up making sure Magnum didnt fall. He then got out of the water and walked over to Leaf. He stopped infront of her and laied down, flicking his tail. "Whats up kid?" He asked

I looked to Notch as he spoke before climbing up his mane towards the top of his head. "It's better up here then before, even though you are squishy and soft." I looked from Notch to Leaf as she seemed to be leaving. "Where are you going Leaf?" Hearing Notch speak as well, I waited for her to respond.

Leaf frowned. "No one likes me," she said, a tear rolling down her cheek. It splattered on Notch's paw.

Notch chuckled at Magnums commented before looking at Leaf. "No one dislikes you Leaf...you just have to learn the time and the place to be nice or feisty....personally I dont blame you for the way you acted before." He chuckled again. "Hey if my father had taught to my siblings like that I probably would have done the same."

I felt bad for Leaf and wanted to possibly help but didn't know exactly how. I listened to the tender moment that Notch and Leaf had.

Leaf shrugged and looked up at Notch. "It's just that… well, at first I thought you were mean because my first impression of you was when you yelled at someone when I was being born. I didn't know you were actually so nice," she snuggled up in his mane. "I love you, daddy."

Notch looked slightly shocked at her words. He looked down. Had he really given that impression? He then looked at Leaf and his face softened. without thinking, Notch put a paw round her and licked her head. "No matter how I act..just remember that I also love you..I'd do anything to keep you and the pride safe." He said
