{Calypso is rather medium sized, but even that is pushing it a little. He weighs in at about 38 pounds, and is just shy of being as tall as the average man's hip. He has a very determined look to him, and a coarse Harlequin coat with blue merle markings. He has eyebrows and other marks that are very similar to a Doberman's. Calypso's build is average, and he is sized normally under his thick coat. His paws are large and awkward with light pink paw pads at their bottom. His tail is long and curls slighly at the tip, downy fur lining the tip. His eyes hold a look of serenity, but have the tendedncy to express agression when he's angry. They are a nice hazel color; a bit more brown then green. Calypso's ears are bent forward when calm, but when angry or afraid, and up when he is intrigued or alert. His fur is normally very clean, and his teeth are a dashing white.}

{"Honestly, my history is hard to talk about. It's my past; a terrible story of loyalty, but here goes... So I was a puppy. I lived in New York City with my owners, Chloe and Paolo. A quiet home with 2 dogs: me, and my sister Allie. Allie was another dog adopted from the pound, along with me and our dead brother Centinnial. Anyway, so it was just another day. Tuesday, I believe, and it was Autumn. The morning had skipped happily by, and the afternoon had set in. Paolo and I went to play Frisbee in the park that day. I reluctantly agreed to go, but truthfully I didn't really like Paolo. It wasn't that I actually Disliked him, but we never bonded. Chloe, however, was an angel to me."
"After about an hour of playing, we returned home. Although I loved my Chloe, I knew that a lot of other people didn't. Both she and Paolo were formerly in prison on drug charges, and I suppose they didn't learn their lesson, because once we got home they had a "session"."
"That day they were taking something much stronger than they usually did. Paolo could probably take it with ease, but Chloe didn't have a very strong threshold. And suddenly, she was coughing. It was an ominous hacking and sputtering. I barked and whined, pawing at her, then moved to Paolo. He stood there and watched her choke. I knew that he had no idea what was happening. My frantic yelps were to no avail, because soon Chloe's pale ivory skin held a purple glow, and she was gone. Her pulse had stopped.
"The paramedics arrived shortly after, taking her to the hospital. She was pronounced DOA when she arrived. Paolo was arrested and Allie was given to Chloe's sister who had many female dogs. I had no where to go. Instead of being taken to the pound, I ran away and never turned back, somehow winding up in Manhattan."}
