"Because...." She thought of a reason to. "I'm not sure. Your the first dog iv'e come across that seems, natural." She said unsure how else to put it.

"Natural?" Dakota asked with a slight smile.

Lea rolled her eyes. "I don't know! It's the only word i could think of, i don't think i really have a real reason."

Dakota nodded then tipped his head. "I-I never got your name."

"I'm Lea." She smiled, then asked "What about you?"

Dakota hesitated not sure about giving out his real name yet. He doubted she knew anyone who knew his past but just to be sure.... "It's Rex."

"Very..Unique?" She tried to sound positive. "So where are you from? Were you born in the wild or did you once live with humas?" She asked, making sure to keep her voice low.

"The Wild. I like living on my own." Dakota answered. At least he didn't have to lie this time. "Were you born here?"

"No.." She said. "I used to be on a different sled team, but there was an accident. Just me and the pup, the only survivors." She said quietly.
