When he noticed that she had drifted off to sleep, his head droped on her back softly. He didn't want her to wake up, so he did it as gently as he possibly could. Soon, the sleep also took him in.

" Oh. " He said before turning his head to hear some branches snap, to see another black stallion near by. He made a simple conclusion in his mind. " Herd ? " He mumbled under his nose.

Her chest let out a soft neigh. Her hoofs brought her closer to him, as she gently pulled his mane and, slowly trotted a couple of inches away. She had a joyful smile on her face.

Ferrah's heart raced with fear from being alone. She knew she was strong and fast after the cougar chased her away from her heard, miles and miles away. She supposed it wouldn't be long until she left anyway though. Her eyes flickerd from one area to the to the other, fearing anything might jump out and attack her. She gulped and couldn't take it any longer... She began racing through the hills and grass, fearing evil eyes were whatching her every move and waiting until she got closer...
