Fade squinted his eyes, looking threw the rain. He had been here before, it must have been the meadow they were in before the storm came. Fade slowed his pace down quickly until he came to a stop. He looked around, not seeing any signs of where Serenity and the foals had gone, "We're at the meadow that we've been in.. but I'm afraid Serenity and the foal's scents are long gone. We'll just have to try and find shelter and hope we find them while doing so."

Aurora flicked her ears back nervously. "What if we don't? Won't Serenity get mad if you never show up?" She asked, knowing how Sereinty wasn't that fond of her yet.

Fade had to stop and think for a moment about that before responding to her question, "I know she wont be very happy but she can't be mad about us not being able to track her and the foals down in the rain."

It wasn't hard to pick out the beauty in this beautiful mare. A dazzling soft brown coat that could almost resemble melted chochlate following over her like a waterfall. The silky sorrel mane drapped over her shoulder. The tips of it gently coming up as the breeze grabbed them and brought them away from her body as she walked. She had some how remained beautiful even with her horrible past. Raging hooves and blood filled mouths were all to real for this untamed beauty. The brightly bold green orbs jutterd around like a zebra in a afrian safri. Always awake and looking for danger. The browm ears on this magestic beast flicked up. The sounds of the forest rang in her ear. Nickring softly she dippped her head again to graze. Her heat was already strong for the seasons time.

Aurora slowly nodded before started to walk forward, looking for a shelter. "Where do you think would be a good place to go?" She called over her shoulder to Fade, turning her head and looking at him. Aurora jumped again as lightning shot across the sky, lighting it up for a few seconds.

Fade twitched his ears as the lightning lit the sky and soon after was a loud boom of thunder, "I know where a few caves are." he said as he trotted to her side, "We need to get out of the rain." he said as he nuzzled her wet, muddy shoulder. He began to trot, heading towards the rocky hills not too far ahead of them.

Aurora smiled faintly before trotting after him, this time making sure to place her footing correctly and not slip. She was already caked in mud though.

Fade led the way until the had reached the rocky hills. It was still pouring and they'd have to be careful while climbing up the rocks. He looked back at Aurora, "See that cave up there?" he said as he nodded forward at the cave up the hill quite a ways, "We're going to go there, I'll let you go in front of me to I can catch you if you slip." he smiled and nodded forward again, motioning her to start up the hill.

The mare stood hidden in the corner of the cave shivering. Her mane stringy and dark giving it a black tint. She listened outside. She had no idea who or what was outside. The rain drowing out all sense of hearing. The mist that had formed with the rain made it uneasy to see anything. Closing her eyes she circled herself into the corner and lifted her hoof up to rest. Her ears dropped back, while her hind faced the entrance of the cave

Aurora nodded to him before warily began to walk forward, tripping once or twice since the ground was very slick. Eventually though she had made her way up to the cave, and gladly went inside to escape from the pouring rain.
