The Arctic Shore (Arctic animals rp) WIP always accepting

Korco had dosed off once the seal left and gave up. He stirred lightly in his sleep but did not wake up. He was out like a rock, dead tired.

Kelly sat at the edge of the ice trying to find the star. She had lost it and foolishly forgot witch way she was heading. She sighed trying to find it among the other twinkling lights. She was so deep in thought that she didn't hear Lucy step out onto the snow near by.

Nathan's eyes finally adjusted, and he looked up once more, and saw this large rock. Seconds later he realised that it was Korco, perfectly still, fast asleep. Nathan chuckles under his breath, and looks into the water for the seal, though sees nothing. Leaning back onto the ice again, he falls right back asleep.

Lucy saw Kelly out near the edge of the ice, seemingly still. She rushed up to find her, and almost couldn't come to a complete stop. Huffing slightly, she stopped and sat beside Kelly, saying nothing.

Kelly looked to see a face in front of hers. She screamed in shock and slipped backwards on the ice. Her back paws dunked into the water but the rest of her body did not follow. She clung onto the ice like it was her life. She heaved her self up, finding it harder then it should have been. "Why are you hear" She asked more bitterness in her voice then she meant there to be.

Lucy jumped back when Kelly fell in the ice, worried to death that she hurt or scared her badly. She put her ears back, and wondered why she actually bothered to come out here. Kelly obviously didn't want to stay with the pack. But at the same time...

"Come and stay with the pack," Lucy blurts out suddenly.

Kelly was taken aback by the bluntness of this wolf. For the first time she showed full emotion in every feature of her face, pure shock. She shook her self off and went back to the annoyed look she had had earlier. "Why should I," She struggled to keep the bitterness and hate out of her words. She knew she shouldn't lash out her anger at Lucy, she did nothing. But Kelly just couldn't hold her feelings in any more. She knew she would bust soon and hurt someone, again.

Lucy couldn't help but be sad, as she knew it would take a lot to get Kelly to join the pack. Shifting back and forth, she looked at the ground. Then her head snapped up suddenly, as if a thought hit her.

"Because you seem like a really awesome fox, and I don't want you all alone out on the ice and all."

She frowned slightly, knowing it sounded better in her head then spoken, but she knew she wouldn't take it back for the world.

Kelly was never stuttered. It wasn't in her genes, she was stronger then that. SHe had only stuttered once and she would never admit it to this day. Well this, made her stutter and pause. She had to think about what she was going to say. She could tell her the real reason she didn't want to join or she could make one up and lie. Out of all the things Kelly hated, lying was on the top of the list. Though she was a good lier.
Kelly turned away and looked out at the dark black water. She decided to stick with the truth. "I...I can't," she stuttered, "It... hard to.. understand," She felt her anger disappear back inside her waiting for another moment to strike.

Lucy tilted her head to the side, concern written all over her face. She was always bad at hiding emotion, not that it really mattered now.
"Why not? And I can always try to understand," she says, softly, almost as if she was speaking to a pup.
Lucy was now very concerned, and confused. At this point and time, she just wanted to know what was going on.

Kelly continued to stare out at the open waters. She didn't much care for this talk she just wanted to get on with it. "I have a few things to clean up ok!" She snapped. Her classic anger slipping back into her voice. "Just... a few things..." She whispered feeling bad for snapping at Lucy. She was just trying to help but Kelly didn't want the help.

Lucy was worried, and now she just wanted to help. She noticed Kelly could be a little snappy, but it seemed to not even matter at the point and time.
"Anything I could... Possible help with?" She said hesitantly, bracing herself for any type of answer.
