She watched the wolf leave, feeling numb. Then she remembered echo. Slowly she got up and tried to walk to the river. Her leg and neck hurt too much though, so she fell to the ground after about two steps, and howled as loud as she could, trying to call for her brother

echo saw cookie'' a said i knew you were going to get hurt you didnt believe me'' echo dragged cookie back to the den and said ''mother lost her memory so she thinks she didnt have pups ''he said sadly

Cookie whimpered weekly as her brother dragged her. "Mommy" she said quietly, fighting the urge to shut her eyes

A wolf came who was a healer and saw cookie and picked her up and carried her to the healer den and disinfected her wounds and bandaged them with leaves "dont move" the healer ordered

echo watched the healer do its job

Cookie whimpered as she was being dragged again. She started going into shock.
