Thowra grazed in the meadow.

Steel looked unhealthy. His stall had never been cleaned and his food never given after his first few days. He was in the deserted area of the barn in the very last stall. It was dark in the corner so many never even knew there was a horse there. His ribs were countable and his hip bone protruded. He looked worse that Xenia had. His neck was long and thin and his face had a weary, heavy look. His ears was laid back and he stood still.

Xenia was in the paddock alone. She was able to walk and even trot a bit. She was improving rapidly. She neighed for anyone.

Echo grazed in the large pasture.

Adam brought out Echo's tack and called his trusty horse. He tacked him up and mounted him. "Let's go boy" he said. "A nice trail ride might relax you"
