Tanner swerved to avoid the mare, who had suddenly decided to stop. The stallion wheeled back around, galloping past Jasmine again and nipping her on the flank as he passed.

Sandy licked some of the water drops that had landed on her coat.

Phoenix looked up at his mother. "I-I think so," he stuttered, unsure of how to get himself started.

Toronto walked behind his newborn colt and nudged him, giving him the momentum to stand up.
