"I promise I'll be here for you and Rain. I promise I will protect you both. I promise I will give my life for you both. I promise I will be the best stepfather Rain will have. I promise-" he trails on, excitedly continuing his promises. He nuzzles Rain in her ticklish spot. "Are you okay with this? I need your approval" he nickers.
