Tanner realized that he'd touched on a sensitive subject. "I'm sorry Jasmine. That must have really hurt you. And me bringing it up probably didn't help much either...." the bay stallion traoled off, choosing instead to nuzzle the mare's neck.

''Me? New?'' Soraya asked a bit confused. ''Sure I am, why are you asking that?''

Star smiled at the young horse and said, "See? I'm not a monster. Now run along. I have something to do. Bye Bear, Sandy." And with that, he trotted off.

Bear watched Star trot off. He didn't know what to do.

Jasmine trailed off eyes forward not nuzzling him back,"it its fine. Its just that I had the foal as an outcast, and i was so thin and weak that i wasnt providing enough milk for him. He died shortly after.". She let tears run down her muzzle.She got up and walked away. She interested in tanner anymore in fear they would have a foal of their own and she would fail again.

Shanti said in response to soraya," because I haven't seen you around here often.".

"Jasmine, wait," Tanner said, heading after the mare. "I wouldn't ever do anything like that to you."

Sandy returned the stallion's smile. "Goodbye Star," she said softly. Once he was out of earshot, Sandy turned to the colt beside her. "See? I told you that he wouldn't hurt you."

''That's because I just came'' me nickered smiling slightly.

Jasmine head sank low and she just kept on walking.

Shanti smiled and said,"well whats your name?".

''I'm Soraya, but call me Aya if you want.'' she smiled slightly, flickering her tail.

"Well, I knew he wasn't going to hurt me! I just... Uh.." Bear said not wanting to admit how scared he was of Star.
