Steel smiled and jumped into the river. The water felt cool against his coat and washed him. The dust that had been on him before washed away and his dapple grey coat looked brighter than ever.

Xenia saw mares and stallions. She watched them, nervous. She started to walk towards them, not sure whether they would notice her.
