Malto padded back into camp after hunting a little bit and managing to catch a squirrel and a rabbit. He placed the rabbit in the pile in the camp, he had eaten the squirrel in the forest. He saw Kovu and Ryhs practically facing off and he watched them carefully, being sure to be ready to jump in if need be
