Ella smiled and swam around the lake. Carter was the best friend she had here, and she really liked being with him. She turned and swam back to where Carter was.

She looked back at chief with a nod, then looked at dylan. The female's all white pelt flickered off some of the light. She looked at her, "This will stop the bleeding but don't get it wet." she told the pup. Motioning her to walk over to her. She felt more pain slashing over her sides. She gritted her teeth and shut her eyes. Then reopened them squinting at the small pup.

Carter looked over at Ella. He was breathing hard from all the swimming. It was a lot more tireing with only three legs. He looked to the shore then back at his friend. "I need to get out and rest for a while. You can stay if you'd like. I'll just lay on the shore." He told her.

Ella nodded. "Okay." She took a deep breath and dove underwater, watching all the tiny fish. Smiling, she swam after them. Eventually she made it back to the surface, gasping for air. Ella giggled and swam around the whole lake just for fun. When she was finally tired, she swam to the shore.

Carter was laying on the shore whatching Ella. He smiled and wagged his tail as she came out of the water giggling. He lifted his head as she started to swim out of the lake. "Are you ok?" He asked her.

Ella padded onto the beach and shook out her golden fur, making water fly everywhere. She trotted over to Carter when he asked if she was okay. "I'm great!" Ella smiled cheerfully. She turned her head and looked at Carter. "Are you okay?"

Carter nodded. "Just really tired." He told her. He layed his head down on her back. "This was a really great day." He smiled. (WB)

"Yes it was." Ella lied down next to him and looked around her. She looked up and watched the lake sparkle in the afternoon sunlight. She yawned and put her head down on her paws. She closed her eyes.

(Silly silly Izzy you know Wolfeh will die for a pup! I want 2 of the pups male & female
& of course I used Ember....With the fall setting I was going for her fur was perfect to fit in it)

Carter smiled and looked around. The sun was setting on the lake and made everything golden. He loved the view. He licked Ella's head happily and lay his head on her back slowly falling asleep.
