Silent watched as Zeus walked over to one of his other mares, she sighed. He had spent more time with her than his mate.. she just didn't understand. Maybe it was because she was more pregnant than the other mares? Silent sighed again then closed her eyes and relaxed in the spring.

Revenge lifted his head, he smelt another mare nearby. He looked around not seeing her but he sure could smell her.. but why would she not be pregnant this late in the season? Then it occurred to him that she must have been a loner.

Jades mane blew in the breeze as she looked around seeing September. She nickers back before begganing to graze once more

September swished her tail as she pulled at the grass. Hearing the mare return her nicker she raised her head, "Are you new here?" She asked trying for some small talk.

Jade nodded moving closer. "yes,I'm Jade."

September nodded, "September." She said as Jade came a little closer. "I'm fairly new here myself, still finding my way around. I was lucky I remembered my way here to the valley." She gave a small laugh.
