She didnt hear the mare and her stallion calling her name as she walked. She was two deep in thought as she was walking through the forest. She stopped at a stream and took a long drink before walking along again. She stopped and smiled seeing a small meadow. It wasnt was pretty as she hoped but she still liked it. She turned around and started heading back to where Legend told her to stay she got worried when he heard her yelling her name and she sounded angry and she got kind of worried. She knew she wasnt going to be trusted alone anymore.

"Alaska!" I whinny again, sounding worried. I hear a horse nearby and I move towards the sound, "Alaska!" I whinny happily, trotting over to her and nuzzle her neck. "Angel! I found her!" I whinny to my other mare. "Alaska, I'm so glad I found you" I nicker happily "I was worried"

She couldnt help but smile when he said he would always love her more. "Your to sweet." She was glad he said the mare was really nice. "No promises im going to be nice to her." She couldnt look away when he looked into her eyes. Its like he locked eye contact and she couldnt break it.

She followed behind the others mindlessly, concentrated on nothing.
Her head hung low, she put one foot in front of the others.
Wait. What am I doing? she thought to herself, raising her head.
I could be gone now. I now know where the valley is, that's the only important thing right?
She contemplated silently whether she should leave or not.

The earth around him casually grew muddier, beginning to draw water with each step.
He turned his head to Orchid, and flicked his ears. Water was roaring in the distance.
Lifting his head slightly higher than usual, he whinnied to her.

He snorted slightly and attempted to ignore the look she gave him.
"I think it would probably be best if we left here now."
He stomped, splashing mud up his leg. "I don't know the land very well, but I think this valley may flood when the snow melts."
He began to walk towards the base of the mountains.
"I don't know about you, but I certainly don't want to stick around to meet the animals the water stirs up."
He turns over his shoulder to her.
"Besides. It's getting my tail muddy."

"You are such a mare" I snort with a little laugh. I grin and move towards the mountains with him. Once I get out of the mud and out of the valley I trot over to a pond and step into the cold water. I wash the mud off of my body, turning the water foggy.
