(( Just thought I'd remind you, Casey, that my characters never made it to the front page. ^^; ))
Breckin - 4 Years - American Foxhound - Loner - Single
At the sound of a car approaching from just around the corner, Breckin veered to the side and continued trotting along the shoulder of the road. The car passed on by and kept going. Breckin was not surprised of course. Most humans just ignored him, and he liked it better that way. It was easier to travel if he was left to his own business.
Speaking of his own business, Breckin's stomach was beginning to feel quite empty. His sesitive nose got to work, seeking out something to eat as he moved along.
Canute - 3 Years - Drever - Loner - Single
The little drever paused for a moment to consider his next move. He could try to get through that fence somehow, but he might get caught with all the noise he might make, not to mention the extra time it would take to get in and out. Then, there was the possibility that it wouldn't even pay off. Still, a rumbling tummy was enough to convince him to at least try.
So, he set to work sniffing around the outside edge of the fence, looking for a weak spot to wiggle underneath.
Mashaka - 2 Years - Basenji - Loner - Single
With a huge sigh, Mashaka heaved herout out from under the bench and started wandering slowly down the sidewalk. She didn't really feel any better, but she was hungry enough to be motivated to move, so she did. Mashaka knew a good place that usually had something to eat. Luckily, it seemed that she was one of few dogs who knew about, if she wasn't the only one. That was what made it so good. It was unlikely that her food would get stolen from her. Being a small dog, it was vital that she avoid conflict whenever possible.
