He pulled himself to his paws, shaking out his damp coat with a grin. In response to her question he rolled his shoulders in a shrug and looked at his mother. She seemed, once again, unfocused and lost in her thoughts. "Dunno. Mom might get mad if we get dirty again," He smiled softly, thinking of what her face would look like. He turned his gaze to Blaze questioningly, his mother had told him about the white male that ruled the pride so it was quite clear who this was. Maybe he would have a suggestion.

Well, it was to her. Tail waving slowly behind her she tilted her head to the side ever so slightly. "What about you, are you part of a pride?" She asked curiously, taking half a step back as a thought entered her mind. "Ugh, you're not with that jerk Altair are you?" She growled quietly, she hated that other pride male.

The young female swept along, following her own little path to Home Tree, knowing Altair would murder her if she went any farther. Why did he have to be so protective? It got on her nerves. She growled under her breath for a moment, bright golden eyes dancing over the land. She picked up the pace, but still managed to look graceful as her small body moved over the yellow grass. Her father always teased her that since she was so careful and graceful when she moved now, she'd be the most clumsy lion anyone'd ever seen when she was grown.
