Bluejay stood beside Khena, keeping quiet. She didn't dare speak, and kept her tail tucked between her legs. Her ears were pinned flat. She was nearly touching sides with Khena she was so close to him. It was out of fear of Coydog. She didn't know the fae too well but she knew well enough not to mess with her. And to be wary.
Bluejay lowered her head a bit, not wanting to look any of the others in the eye with fear to prevoke them.

He was certainly a talker, but it seemed he had no ideas to back up his words. At first, at least. She listened eagerly, waiting for some plan of utter brilliance to draw out of the dog. When Iakov was mentioned, though, her hope faded for a moment. Snapping her head toward his direction she started spitting stale, used words at him. " Iakov, you idiot! There's a reason you should keep your little muzzle shut, you pest. But nevermind you, I'll deal with that loud tongue later."

Coydog turned back to face Khena, her ears resting far back on her head. She pricked them far forward when Khena began to speak again, though. Her pupils dialated from her wide eyes, shock having pried them open. " Khena, you do understand how risky that first plan is? I think the only reason we're alive is because we don't bother the humans too much. Going in to their land could get us shot. " She sighed, defeat dripping from her voice. " But I suppose violence is the only way. Let's stick with that second plan for now, understand? It'll work well enough. " Coydog spun around to Annie and Iakov, a stern look taking place over her normal face. " You two hear that? Iakov, I know you're an idiot and have no worries about humans. And you, Annie. Just do your best. "

Their plotting was dangerous. Iakov was forced to forget it, though, Coydog's threats were not hollow. No, they were as solid as steel. He pushed his body in to submission, flattening his ears down and tucking his tail under his body. There went his perfect posture. He didn't bother to apologize, it would be useless and only gasoline for the fire.

Every now and then he'd take a glance at Annie, wondering her position on the subject. He could guess it for the most part, her very body gave off a worried language. Coydog's return to him forced Iakov to snap his head to her direction once more. Her words were harsh but true. It almost made him ashamed, but such an emotion would never register on his proud face. " Yes, Coydog. I'll make sure to follow this, er, rule properly. "

Khena ----->

He couldn't help but feel sorry for Lakov - having Coydog as an alpha must have been tough. "Hey now, Coydog, if it weren't for the little guy I'd have never bothered to cast the two legged rats a second glance," He finished the sentence with a snort, voice holding a light tone to it. His signature smirk returned and he lifted his tail, beginning a slow wagging motion.

"I'm guessing this means I'll be seeing you around more often, huh?" A chuckle, a real, humoured chuckle, escaped Khena as he moved closer to Bluejay, about to give her a command. "Listen, Blueeyes, you see a human even half an inch too close and you run out there and take 'em down. Whatever is in our territory belongs to us - including their toes," The chuckle returned, making his chest hurt. He hadnt laughed in a while.

Annie ----->

"Yes, Coydog. I'll do just that," Annie responded with a hushed tone, ears pinned back against her head to display her submissiveness toward, well, everything that was a dog. She didn't want to meet her alphas demands at all, nope, not her, she wanted to maybe bark once or twice then flee into the shadows of the building.

She grunted at his comment, Coydog didn't exactly favour being told she was wrong in her thinking. It was true, though. " I suppose so. Just try to keep your yapping down, Iakov. " She looked at the small creature with displeasure, thoroughly irritated. Even her bones were shaking with a sort of eager and dark anticipation, though not only at Iakov. Things would soon become interesting, that was something concrete.

Khena seemed to be rather upbeat about the whole situation. She stared him down with cold eyes, not feeling nearly as much humor. " I suppose so, Khena. I'll ask you to report to me every now and then. This is going to be an interesting winter. " Coydog turned her back to him for a moment, facing Iakov and Annie instead. " Both of you, this is serious. I expect your full efforts, understand? If you fail to preform, expect penalty. " Coydog loosed another sigh, obviously upset and conflicted.

" I am not dying here. "

Iakov felt a slight pang of jealousy towards Khena. He wasn't exactly sure why, but he had an idea. She seemed to respect Khena so much more than himself, even though he had been by her side since the start. It flustered him for reasons he didn't know. He had no choice but to give in to her words, though. " Yes, Coydog. " Although it was not, Iakov felt as if Coydog's comment was directed only at him. That's how he felt about most things, unless they were words of praise.

Bluejay perked her ears slightly. She looked up at Khena, mostly conflicted, but she nodded in understanding. "Yes Khena. I don't like to kill though..." She said softly, ears flopping foreward. "Sorry."

Also, I have an announcement!

I was surprised with a vacation from my parents. I will be gone from this upcoming Monday to the following Sunday morning. I guess we'll have to put the roleplay on hold until then, I know I'd miss a lot. Not to mention my characters are interacting.
