Kaala smiled down at her then lay on the bumper of the truck. She wondered if the master would catch her out here but hopefully it would be the master's mate. She wanted a bit of action.

and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

Calix woke up suddenly and banged his head off the truck. He could hear giggling and wanted to see what it was. He leapt on top of the cabin of the truck and stood above Kaala and Spectra smiling. Then he looked nervously around- realizing that the master's husband could see him from there. He leapt back to the safety of the ground and looked at Kaala and Spectra who were playing on the bonnet of the car. "What if the master's mate sees you there?" he asked them.
Kaala pawed Spectra back before looking at Calix from where she lay. "So what" she said getting up and digging her claws into the truck and dragging them back making a squeeling sound. It made long scratch marks.

Kaala looked at the master confused when she was tapped on the nose- what the Hell was that supposed to mean? Humans seriously confused her. She looked at the scratch marks she had left on the truck and grinned at them proudly. She watched Spectra doing the same thing and chuckled lightly.
