Dusty grunted and got off the mother and instead stood in front of her, growling.

Spectra climbed up on the dog's back, sinking her teeth into its flesh.

He dog howled in pain and threw Spectra off. It growled in fury as it turned to Invio. As Invio stood, somehing hung from his mouth. The hounds left ear! By the time the he looked up, the hound pinned Invio to the ground. Invio yelped and the ear flew down a few feet away. "This is payback!" The hound said, ready to claw at Invio and slash at him by lifting a paw.

Spectra growled. "You leave him alone!" Spectra snapped before tackling the hound's head.

Dusty ran in front of Invio. "Your going to have to kill me before you put a paw on him."

The hound growled and gently put his paw down and shook his head, trying to get Spectra off. He stepped away from Invio without notice and Invio managed to struggle away. The mother fox hissed at Dusty and stood over her cub.

Spectra snarled and snapped at the hound.

"Don't do it Dusty!," Invio cried. "You don't need to kill yourself!" Invio looked at Dusty worriedly.

Dusty ignored the Invio and growled at the hound.

The hound threw Spectra off and slammed her to the ground with a paw. "Good offer," The hound said. "But I think I'll go through this one first," he said, eyeing Spectra. "Then I'll go through you. That way I'll kill both of you. The third victim will be Little Invio here. Then I'll retrieve the three of you and the foxes to my hunter! Perfect! All he wants is coats! Perfect plan!"
