Karma's breathing was still heavy and fast, not even trying to get up. she tossed her head slightly, putting her ears back submissively, showing she didnt care if he came closer, her back ankles still sore.

William came forward and sat down next to her. "Karma, I'm so sorry" he apologized to the mare. "I shouldn't have done that to you"

Karma gently reached her head out, laying it in his lap, forgetting about what he did before, just wanting him to know she forgave him.

William gently rubbed her head. "Why are you lying down?" he asked, running his other hand down her leg

Karma was fine til he touched one of her back ankles, she pulled her back legs away, trying to get up again, but it hurt too much and she just laid back down.

William frowned and pulled out his phone. He had no idea how to treat an injured horse more than the basics. He pulled up the vet's number and called it. "Hello? This is William Newton From Shadow Ridge Ranch. I have a horse here who seems to have something wrong with either her ankle or hoof, she won't let me touch it. You've been here before? Great. Thanks for coming"

Karma pinned her ears back, forcing herself up, although it hurt alot. constantly moving her back feet trying to releave herself of the pain.

William opened the gate and went to get a cold cloth

Corr took advantage of the open gate and slid into the stall. He stood next to Karma and leaned against her

KArma leaned back againest Corr, it helped alittle bit, and it didnt hurt as much.

Corr nuzzled her gently. 'What's wrong?'

William came back with a towel filled with ice in a plastic bad wrapped in a dam towel. He came back into the stall and sat down next to Karma, putting close to her leg, just not touching yet
