Kailey nodded and curled herself around Maria and licked her fur.

Balto stood there and said "Ummmmm, I guess Maria has a lot of friends," he looked at the different type of dogs. Now why was she crying about Timber when she has a bunch of guys around her?

"I just found her with wounds on her neck and kinda took her in." Kailey said softly.

Maria laid her head on kaileys side and fell asleep again.

"Oh that's weird," Balto said even though he knew what had happened. He looked around and said "Wow, I didn't even know there was a lake around here."

"Yeah." Kailey said and laid her head down.

"Well, she doesn't look like she is hurt bad," he replied looking at her.

"No, it took a lot actually to stop her neck from bleeding. She still sleeps though because her body is still healing." Kailey said.

"Well it shouldn't be doing that dogs have gone threw worst and have been awake by now " he replied sharply.

"Shes still a puppy. I'm letting her sleep. She came close to dying and did you help her? No! So don't be talking to me about this." Kailey growled and looked at him angrily.

"She did not nearly die. You girls always take things the hardest way like Maria. Oh my gosh I got bit so I think I'm ganna die! It's so stupid! You girls don't know how to deal with anything," he replied.

Lace heard Balto and she growled a little she came out of a bush that was next to the water and came up to them and said "So girls can't handle anything? that's how we survive threw everything. We know when to keep are mouth shut at the right time and knows when enough is enough!"
