The guy had called for animal control and the people came out and got Balto and Kailey up.. They took them back to their building and cleaned them up.

Balto felt much better after being clean but he wondered what would happen now. He saw two people talking about him he heard wof and Balto and that's it. He sat in a cage waiting to be let go.

Kailey shook out her fur gently and some police guy was looking at her. She smiled but knew Maria was back at her den. HE had put a collar around her neck and put a leash on it. She went over to Balto's cage. She stayed put even though the guy kept telling her to come on. He finally gave up and asked for the dog.

Balto sat in his cage all the dogs where staring at him and whispering about him and one dog didn't seem to like that because it was glaring at him. Baltos cage opened and he was up on a leash and was brought to a rom with the dog that was glaring at him. Finally he could figure out why it was glaring at him. They were let loose with each other and when he came over to say something the dog swiftly bit him so the humans culdnt see but Balto growled and some people pulled him back saying "He is a unfriendly dog. Take him ut of here and put him down," Balto was put on a leash but he l we what those words ment. He pulled back on the leash barking.

Kailey had ran over to the dog and bit into it's neck. She snarled and her new owner had to pull her off. She grabbed balto's leash and ripped it out of the humans hands. She snarled and ran towards the door with his leash.

Balto ran after hr as fast as he could while humans chased them and red lights and loud noises started to go off.

Kailey looked back at her owner sadly but went into the woods. She kept running, following the smell of the lake.

Balto ran after her he looked around not knowing where they we going he hadn't been at this part of the forest yet and it was all new. He didn't even know the was a lake u til he smelt one.

The five guy saw Maria laying by herself sleeping. Harry walked up to her and turned to the guys and said "Should we help 'er?" Liam striped forward and said "Of course! But who took her here?"

Maria whimpered at the noise and opened her eyes. She looked at the boys confused.

Kailey kept running then slowed as they neared the lake. She saw five dogs over by the den and growled."who are you?" She growled and went over to Maria checking her.

Liam looked at the dogs and said "Were Maria's friends. I'm Liam and these are Niall, Louis. Zayn and Harry," he pointed to all of them with his nose.
