Ray raced to the edge and tried to catch him through gritted teeth. He stepped back and his his head, "D*** Raylex!" He growled at him self, "Look what you did!" He looked at Fala and caught her scruff. "Please don't go," he whimpered. This was his fault he just should have left. "I'm sorry I' ve caused you this much trouble," He licked her cheek and turned to leave. He couldn't be with Fala if he caused her this much pain.

"You go to your mother I'll go down and find his body" he said walking to where the gorge fell into a hill.

No name squeaked and suckled nursing on her mother some more until she was full with a chubby belly. She snuggled up into her fur and squeaked more into her mother's fur.
