{Harley

His pacing ceased when he felt something settle against his paw. As he was about to jerk it away and growl he stopped. Even Harley, the one anti-social wolf in the family couldn't resist. His eyes softened from their cold, hard stare into something almost comforting. He watched the pup for a moment, slowly relaxing and watching it with the smallest of smiles. Slowly his haunches came to a rest on the earth as he scooted the pup towards it mother. "Go to your mother. he said softly.

{Sunny

At the sight of the poor wolf's ribs he felt a slight pang in his chest. How long had it been since she ate? Standing he looked at her with concern filled eyes. "I'll get you some food to make up for it." Without saying anything to Harley he bounded off clumsily in search. Knowing the only food there was something he couldn't catch he headed towards where he had seen other wolves get food. He didn't like the way the walls surrounding them looked. Threatening. Standing by one of them he began whining and pacing back and forth till a hare was tossed over. Picking it up he scampered away quickly. As he was about to step out he went quiet, watching Harley and the black pup. Sneaking around he stopped at the edge of the den and dropped it in, settling to watch.

[Pink vapor]

Kiara:
She tilted her head, "Well, I'd love to meet her. I think I'll wait here with you 'till she gets back." Shaking her fur, she lay down. "So, I never caught your names, ......?" she yawned.

Winter let out a low whimper, clutching weakly to Harley's paw. He licked it in the sweetest of ways. The runty brute rubbed his head in a sort of claiming way. There was no way the tiny black pup was letting him leave. Winter's tail gave the tiniest of wags.

Kirsa watched in quiet awe as her son made this brute calm down. The weakest of smiles appeared on her face. "He likes you." She commented softly. She curled around Spring, continuing to watch Winter and Harley with silent amazement.

{Harley

At the sound of the wolf's voice everything in him once again went back to its original way. Cold, no love included. Pulling his paw from the pup's grasp he stood abruptly. "I'm going find somewhere to sleep." he said mostly to Sunny, but some to himself. Without sparing a second glance he trotted off to find any amount of shade to settle into. As Sunny's voice dimmed till he couldn't hear it he sighed and settled under a tree. Curling around himself and closing his eyes.

{Sunny

Sunny sighed softly as Harley turned and left abruptly. No matter what something always ruined the good moments with Harley. Even though she hadn't asked for one he felt she deserved an explanation. "He doesn't like anybody seeing his vulnerable side. Like if he does it'll ruin him. Don't let it bother you, he doesn't even trust me." Standing he trotted over and picked the small pup up. Carefully he brought it over to her and set him down.

Winter protested, where was his father going? He began to wail uncontrollably, his tiny paws flailing in the air. He pushed away from his mother, refusing her milk scent. He cried, inconsolable.

Kirsa pinned her ears sadly, "No please maybe... Calm down." But her son was unreachable. He squirmed sadly, shifting away from his mother's voice. The young fae sniffled, and pinned her ears. She stared at Sunny, "Well look what he did." She snapped.

{Sunny

At the pup's crying he couldn't help but wince, the sound pure saddness to his ears. The worst part, the wolf's words rang true. If Harley had just sucked it up and stayed this wouldn't be happening. But no. He had to shut down and stalk off like the big grump he was! Sighing Sunny stood up and looked at her. "I'll try to get him back but I can't promise anything. When it comes to sleep and Harley they're inseprable. But I would make some room, just in case." he added and hurriedly followed his brother's previous trail. Seeing his brother curled up he grabbed onto the wolf's scruff and began pulling, easily dragging Harley along the ground. "Let's go, you made a pup cry and you're going to fix it." He demanded, it was one of the few times he ever did anything like this.

{Harley

When a tugging at his scruff picked up he growled and lashed out. But with Sunny pulling him by the scruff he couldn't exactly reach. Standing up he shook his brother off and glared at him. But fighting with Sunny on this would be no help, anything with pups made Sunny go on a demanding mode. Following his brother's lead he kept his head down grumpily. He couldn't believe he was doing this. Why had he let Sunny drag him into situations with all his friendliness? As they reached the den he crawled in the opposite side of the other wolf and pressed close to the wall. "Where's the pup?" he grumbled, flopping his head on the ground.

Kirsa watched Sunny with a small smile, "Thank you." She whispered. The fae moved and set Winter down near Harley. She watched as her son scrabbled eagerly towards the brute, his wails turning into a happy rumbling. Kirsa moved backward, laying opposite of Harley.

Winter almost didn't catch Harley's sent over that of his salty tears. He sniffled a couple of times, letting out a yip when his mother set him down near Harley. The newborn brute crawled and squirmed until he lay beside Harley's muzzle. His black fur protesting against the brute's muzzle. He rumbled happily, snuggling against his 'father' contently.
