" I would die, you guys won't even come when I called for you all help. " Kate growled. She fought off a human.

[spring.]

Lily watches her quietly, shaking her head. "THe humans were too far off, we didn't smell them." She retorts, watching Kate then focusing on the humans. SHe looks to Renier then around quietly as she thinks of their first move against the humans.

A growl erupted deep in his throat, two more humans pushed past Kate as the other was attacked by her. Was she crazy?! They had guns! "This isn't the time, you two. Get over it Kate, we can't all come running to every howl we here." He retorted, backing away as the humans let out a frightened yowl. They began to converse in a language he could not understand, one began to raise his gun at Lily. Cursing silently he pushed the Beta out of the way, a claws-length away from him, the dirt puffed up as the bullet made impact. "Be careful." He muttered turning to face the humans once more, one was backing away nervously, while the other began to aim his gun at any wolf he saw.

Kate leaped on another one, she picked up their gun and throw it outside camp.

Kisa's amber eyes held a bit of slight shock at his words, though she was used to his harsh tones and his mood swings at times but this was something she had not seen of him. She didn't mean to put it that way and what did he mean by stop suggesting he wanted to leave? Did he wish to stay with her and make sure it was just a sprained paw or was there more behind his words than he wanted to admit or show? She sighed quietly under her breath as she called after him with a gentle yet firm snap, "I didn't mean it that way you silly brute!" She hoped he wouldn't take it the wrong way, he knew she was a bit snappish and stubborn herself after all. She gently averted her eyes away from his retreating form to Leylak, still holding her front paw up gingerly. "Leylak," She started with a dip of her head and ears back to show the head healer respect, "Do you by chance have anything for a sprained paw? I stepped in a rabbit's hole by mistake and Reiner believed it to be sprained."

Her figure remained motionless, her chest rising and falling was the only sign of life as she guarded the Healer's den with a stolid expression. Gently she eased her neck, her collar aching from the frozen state she put herself for quite a while. The final summer breezes crept under her slick white pelt, chills wavering through her spine to her tail as it lift from the ground with an uncontrollable twitch. Renier caught her eye as a lazy figure depended on his help, the large lead fighter's facial expression with little acceptance of the rambling of thanks Kisa was constantly spitting in his ear. Leylak's left ear twitched as its velvet tip sagged as she rose from the den entrance, giving a nod of thanks to Renier whether he bothered with it or not. Her attention flickered to Kisa, her injury on her paw most specifically. Lowering her head to Kisa's paw height, the Lead Healer quickly inspected the minor wound and huffed, "What is the amount of pain you feel from it? Can you put any weight to it?" She promptly asked the generic questions knowing she had to ask them so she could evaluate the situation and give the injured wolf the exact amount of help they needed, if any. She was already backing away into the Healers over sized den, the size greater then the Alpha's even, for good reason. There was only 3 hare hides, circling the water hole that was centered in the entire place, an extra hare hide secretly hidden next to the entrance so as a Healer could keep close eye on the patients currently in the den. The Healers den needed the extra space for visitors, as well as the herb storage, more reasonably sized water hole, and the Healers themselves to shuffle around to deal with patients. The Healers den had more of a homey feel to Leylak, the many herbs comforted her, the entire den was like home away from home in a way.

She swiftly made her way through the line of various herbs, her mind filling the herbs names and their specific purposes. Now and again, Leylak found herself hooking a claw on a previously made hole in a few of the leaves, thinking as she slightly pulled them away from the line of herbs, checking her options. Leylak settled on Thyme and Tansy, hooking them onto two separate claws on the same paw. From there she let the leaves that carried the medicine slide smoothly across the deer hide, finally pulling herself back out of the den with the two herbs at her paws. Patiently she waited for Kisa's response to her earlier questions so she could decide whether she needed the Thyme at all, or if anything.

[spring.]

Lily yelps slightly as she is pushed out of the way so suddenly. She looks to the humans, snarling. She'd thank Renier later or in the morning. She hears the low rumble of her brother's growl next to her and knows the humans should leave. She snaps at them, not close enough to land an actual bite but just enough to maybe intimidate. Plus, with this bigger wolf next to her? Yeah, it's pretty bad.

Popcorn woke up to his sister's yelp and with a deep growl, he stands just to see Renier push her away from a human and his gun. He stands protectively next to his sister, his fangs bared as he growls at them. He waits for the right second to attack, knowing that them having guns could mean fatalities.

His fur bristled, and his hackles raised at the nervous hunters. With only two left, they were no longer very sure of themselves. He nodded a battle greeting to Popcorn before averting his gaze to his pursuers. "Just be careful, and move in on 'em. These hunters are wimps." He retorted, tail raising as he crept forward, weaving so he couldn't be easily shot. Snapping at the air with a low growl, the hunters began to move back in the forest, never taking their eyes off of him, as their faces contorted in fear.
