Kate looked at the dead yearling and grinned at Popcorn.

Popcorn smiles slightly to Kate. "Thanks for the help." He says quietly. He watches her beofre laying in camp as he had dragged the dead animal back.

Midnight dragged the dead doe back to camp, dropping it quickly then stretching her muscles. Her blue eyes scanned the camp, locking on Popcorn for a few seconds before contuinign her way around.

Tabestan watched the hunters return, just about every wolf bringing food back. As Tabestan saw Kodiak and Calla with aproud large kill, his memories returned as he recalled her call for help to take down that same elk. His heart sinking as he too was in the midst of catching an adolecent buck. His orange gaze settled on her silky white pelt, finding his paws dragging him toward her to apologize. He stopped a few tail lengths awat frowning as he opened his jaws. "Calla...I am sorry I was not there to help you, the timing of it al... was terrible." He knew he should have been by her side there from the start, starting to place doubt on himself, blaming himself for failing at hunting.

{Don't worry about it, just say Tabestan and October were taking down a buck when Calla needed help. That way he has a good excuse, cause he's gonna need one XD}

He shook his head of the sparkling droplets, his thick black coat was sleek and the water slid off easily. He held his breath before diving under the cool liquid, he open one eye into a slit to guide him but the water stung. Finally he broke the surface a few yards away from Kisa, he looked over his shoulder at her legs paddling puppy-dog style. "Catch me if you can!" He challenged his soft pink tongue lolling out, as he swam it grazed the water refreshing him in his struggles to stay above the water.

(Sorry family stoppe for a visit)

Kisa smiled at the challenge an used her strong legs to paddle easily through the water. She was closer and reached out to gently tug at his tail or nip it softly.

Calla stepped closer to him her eyes saddened by his sense of failure, she smiled at him sympathetically her muzzle wrenching forward to nuzzle him comfortingly. "The timing was bad, don't blame yourself." She replied pulling away to give him a more joyful smile, his fur was tugged at by the wind, it's multiple shades of brown highlighting his orange gaze that mesmerized her. "Lets go for a walk." She said quietly, her voice strewn with anxious longing for she meant to take him to the lavender field. "I see purple in your future." She hinted her eyes sparkled with mischief, and maybe something else. Something she may reveal at the field if she felt the timing was right.

He chuckled and continued foward quickly until his pads met the soft earth at the bottom of the water, it broke under his feet sending clouds of murky dust through the water. Finally pulling himself on shore he turned and looked at Kisa. "Enough of that." He said his fur clinging to his sides, turning back he shook violently relieving his coat of most of the water. Sitting he began to groom his now wild fur, back down to it's normal position.

Kisa giggled softly at the wild tangle of his black coat as she pulled out with a bit of a scowl at te mud that cling visibly to her soft white paws and legs. She went to sit beside him but before settling down she shook out her long white coat with a Emil before sitting to lick the mud from her coat.
