He glanced over as she came up beside him, but looked away so his yellow eyes could guide him. Slowly the gurgling sound of water played in his ears, turning toward the noise he surveyed the clear pool of water with a waterfall flowing into it. A permanent rainbow painted the sky as the waterfall's mist met the light of the sun. Quickening his pace he ran straight into the water, it splashed up on his charcoal fur cooling him from the Summer's heat. Stopping he began to lap up the cool liquid that surrounded him.

Kisa blinked with soft amusement as she hesitated a bit, moving a bit slower as she came up to the water, padding in slowly with a gentle sigh. The river always calmed her, always took her mind off of things when she was angry or upset.

Midnight glanced quietly behind her shoulder as she sleeped soundlessly through the forest, weaving and ducking under the branches. For a moment she stopped, sniffing the breeze that drifted past and turning her head right then slowly to the left before contuining on her way.

Shade sat stiffly next to a tree, rustlng the dirt with his paws every few minutes. A few feet off, a stream gurgled and swirled around the rocks. With a sigh, he heaved himself on his feet and padded to the river, licking the cool water up and watching the fish dodge the rocks as the swam up and down stream.

He turned in the water to look at her, she seemed to relax in the soothing water. "So you seemed pretty stressed up there." He said, referring to when she had ran into him. "Was anything wrong?" He asked trying to both be polite and start a conversation.

She blinked as she settled down in the shallow parts of the water letting it wash over her pelt, "Blizzard and I jsut got into another fight is all." She said, speaking of her twin brother with a sigh. "He doesn't like me going off on my own, he's just ove rprotective is all."

Shade's ear twitched, hearing voices a little far off. They were faint but he could hear their voices. 'A few of my packmates.' He said dismissivaly before turning back toward the stream, his eyes locking on one fish swimming in place against the current. He leaned slowly forward and snapped his jaws around the middle of the fish, tossing it out of the water and onto a rock.

Midnight trotted through her packs forest, glancing around once more, her body aching for someone to talk to. She jumped quietly over a log and landed on a branch. She flinched as it snapped in half, making the crack seem louder in the silence.

He gave her a sympathetic smile wading through the water until only his head was above the water. Walking unbearably slow back to her, through the thick liquid his paws dug into the soft mud trying to pull him forward. "Well your off on your own now." He pointed out with a chuckle, as he waded into the shallower area he sat and scratched his right ear.

Kisa smiled, "Cuase I hate listening to him, even if he is the delta, he's a brother first and I never listen to him." SHe said with a light giggle. "And I'm not alone right now, I do believe I'm with the top fighter of the pack." She pointed out.
