Kate ran towards the patrol hopping she wasn't late, she dash towards Renier. She stopped and panted, " I am so sorry for being late.. "

Ren's ears flicked to the side as Kate ran beside him. His brow scrunched in confusion. "What do you mean late? I wasn't expecting you." He replied, flatly as he tried to determine which two fighters to bring on patrol. His tail swayed delicately as he thought, his mind wavering from Kate to the patrol.

" I wanted to go since I am uh.. Free. " Kate said

Ren let a little grin spread across his muzzle, as she made this statement. "I don't know if you caught the drift, but your a hunter. It's fighters only." He said, with a hearty laugh. Standing up he shrugged his shoulders out, and began to stalk away, he stopped a few yards off and plopped back down to think.

" Hunters can be fighters. " Kate said

He sighed and looked over his shoulder at her. "Yes, I know. A hunter can fight, and a fighter can hunt. But that only ever happens if we are attacked, or if there is a lack of food." He added, his tone subdued but irritated. "We are fighters because we are large and agile, this job was assigned to fighters for a reason." He finished, laying his head on his paws.

" Oh Okay.. " Kate said her ears bent, she stood up padded to him. She lick his cheek before running away.

Luna stood still after Calla finished speaking, thinking of her choices. She decided to ask Renier if he needed help on the patrol. She hadn't gotten into any action lately, so this would be fun. It was also a good way for her to help her pack. She padded over to Renier, ignoring the presence of a hunter she began to speak to him. "Hello Renier," she said, bowing her head respectfully. "If you need any help with the patrol, I am here and willing to go." She lowered onto her haunches in front of him, waiting for a response.

After Calla finished speaking Koda looked around for the lead hunter, Aakil. He figured he might as well help with the hunting. He hadn't hunt for a day or two, and now that he thought of it he was pretty hungry. He padded around a small part of camp that he thought he would find Aakil, but he was no where in sight. Koda shrugged and began to walk into the trees, he planned on finding easy prey to fill him for now. If they needed his help with the hunt, he was sure they would find him and tell him.
