It was a cold winter night the day that the twins of the Alphas were born. Echoing Across The Midnight Plains, and Sharp Talons Scrapping Across The Night. Of course, it was a joyful night for the pack. Two beautiful, healthy pups. Whelps squeaking in the night, the mother and father of the two beautiful things couldn't have been happier. As the two slowly grew, so did their personalities. Echo was the talker, the happy one. Talon was the brooding, silent sort. He always stayed at his smaller sister's side, refusing to leave the future Alpha of the pack. Being born only seconds earlier that her brother, Echo was destined to become the Alpha Female of their parents growing pack. As the nights began growing cold again, announcing the twin's first year of life, a terrible thing happened. Rouges. They had been plotting for years and years, and had finally gained enough numbers to over take the wolves of the pack. The whelps and their parents were never seen again. However, as the two disappeared, the healer of the pack gave birth. During the chaos, three wolf pups were born. One died the moment it left it's mother. Being the first born, the mother was prepared for the rest to be still born. Yet, two pups came. Twins. And, as the Alphas of her pack were slain, she named the twins after the twins that had been born before them. Keeping her newborn whelps silent was not an easy task, and it was not achieved. As the whelps cried out for their mother's milk, the birthing den was found by three rouges. Two male, one female whom had recently given birth to a litter of still borns. Sick with jealousy, the rouge killed the Healer, and took the pups as her own. Before the Healer died however, she was granted one thing by the she-wolf. That she would not change their names. Guilt made the rouge agree to this, and she took the pups back to her camp, raising them as her own. Slowly, the rouges banded together, creating a pack of ruthless killers. As the twins grew, their similarities to the twins before them did as well. It was obvious that the beautiful Echo did not belong with the pack of wolves that killed for fun, and her adopted mother came to realize this. Out of love for the pup, when she turned two years, she sent her away, telling her of the story of her real mother, and the land she had once lived in. Echo ran, going to the territory that she had been promised. Yet, as she left, her adopted mother was found. Killed before she could tell the truth to Talon, the brute's head was filled with lies about his sister. That she had been the one to kill her mother. Then she had ran off to start a new pack in the east. Angered by this, Talon worked to make his way to the highest rank he could in the pack, Beta, swearing that he would kill his twin the moment he got the chance. Echo, starting a new pack, knew nothing of her twin's intentions, only that she had to watch her back, for the pack of rouges could come after her at any moment.
And this was how the Winter Pack and the Grove Pack came into being.

A very diverse region, it contains many plains, rivers and forests. Mostly wooded, the wolves of Winter Pack work the best with stealth and speed, rather than brute strength and loud approaches. Pack hunts are welcomed, yet it is often found that wolves parties of twos and threes go hunting. Do to the vast area and the constantly changing forest floor, single hunting parties are not allowed, unless you are Alpha Echo. She makes her own rules, having lived in this territory for a good two years. The camp is hidden in the middle of the territory, a good five miles from each of the borders, in the middle of a dense forest, far away from where it had been originally. The Alpha's den is large enough to fit a litter of pups, the Alpha, and two more, full grown wolves. It is hidden carefully in a large oak tree that doesn't seem out of place in a large forest. Natural growing ivy covers the entrance perfectly, and once you enter, there is a bed of new leaves, along with three tunnels to choose from. Each of them are on the smaller size, only large enough for Echo to fit through. If you do happen to get through the right tunnel, Echo will be waiting. The trees along the borders of the forest are a strange whiteish blue color, and the grass and leaves slowly turn into more water like plants. As soon as you leave the eastern end of the forest, you can find a small river that runs into the lake. Riddled with fish, birds, otters, and all other water bearing creatures, this territory is very diverse in it's prey options. If you follow along the river long enough, you will be met by another, less dense forest. Right in the middle of this forest is a beautiful lake, formed by some sort of man made hole. Deserted now, the lake has a few man made objects left over, statues covered in moss and ivy, little waterfalls, and a natural looking beauty to it. The lake is teeming with prey, just as the rest of the territory. One thing is for sure, Winter Pack Territory has a bit of everything inside of it.

The Grove Pack's lands are known for one thing, the mountains. Having a great scenery, it seems as though the wolves of the Grove got the better choice of land. In the summer months, the mountains are beautiful and a wonderful source of prey, the natural spring of the land and the melting ice caps making it the perfect area for birthing mothers of prey to reside. In the spring, summer, and fall months, prey is so abundant that it is hard to think of the place without food. Yet, when winter hits, lives for the wolves grow hard. Many wolves have winter dens farther down the mountains, for the pack's camp becomes much too cold to reside in in the winter. Snow layers the mountains in thick puffs, threatening to suffocate any wolf whom dares to stay there in the winter. During the winter, the pack pack moves down to a valley at the base of the mountains. It is a lake in the summer months, and a bit of water is normally left over in the lower parts of the valley when winter rolls around. The pack has an area where they keep their left over prey, toward the tops of the mountains. Any extras are put there to be kept frozen for the long winter months. Before the pack moves to their winter dens, they take the food from the top of the mountain and keep it inside a small cave. This way, when winter blows through the valley, they will have enough to eat. [Will add description of Alpha's Den when the Grove Pack obtains an Alpha.]

♥ Keep the genders even within the packs. That doesn't necessarily means you have to have one male wolf, and one female wolf, but I don't want there to be seven females to one male in a pack.

♥ Your wolves can have as many litters of puppies as they want, with as many different wolves as you want. You do not have to be mated with a wolf to have a litter with them, although it is encouraged. Do not be your own mate, but you can impregnate your own wolf with permission from the administration and myself. When you have puppies, you and the person you role play with will only be allowed to play up to two pups each. If you want more than four pups, I will put an announcement on the news feed. These will be called adoptive pups. You may only adopt one pup per litter, and the mating pair has the right to decline your forum, as do I.

♥ If you have a major plot change, please contact me about it before you play it. No fires, human contact, unexpected plagues etc. etc. etc.

♥ A day is worth approximately half a week in the roleplay. This does not affect your wolves in anyway. It is simply a way for us to keep pregnancies, deaths, and seasons under control.

♥ This is a high Semi Literate role play. I expect a good ten sentences for writers block and twelve plus for a normal day. If I see you can't keep up, I will try to help you the best I can. If you are beyond help, you will be banded from the role play.

♥ Please make your posts pretty. I love pretty posts.

♥ Make your own forum. Make sure it show how Literate you are, and describes your wolf to the fullest extent. I did this mostly, just kidding, write a funny joke in the other section of your forum if you have read these rules, because I am extremely lazy.

is my nickname. Short for, Echoing Across the Midnight Plain. A tongue full, aye?
I am a she-wolf, of course. If you can't tell, I shall act as though I am thoroughly offended.
I founded the Winter Pack, therefore am the Alpha. I forever will be.
As you should already known about my past, let me tell you about myself.

'When you first meet Echo, she is a strict yet fair leader. Her pack is lead by a steady paw, her wolves held to the highest of standards. Echo's green gaze rarely softens to those whom she has just met, and she may even be cruel if you hold the scent of a rouge or of other lands beyond her own. To every wolf coming to her pack and asking for entrance, she is harsh and unforgiving. Her mind is normally focused on one thing, how to keep herself and her pack safe from the Grove Pack, and how to save her brother from the grasps of the evil pack. After you get to know her, she lightens up.
Once you become trustworthy in her eyes, you will see the true form of Echo. A smart and happy young she-wolf, ready to take on the world one paw step at a time. Her knowledge is vast for her age, showing many how the young she-wolf tends to think. Every problem has an answer, in her mind. The challenge is simply finding the solution. She is a kind female, a
