Chica's eyes shot open at the sound of a loud squawk. She growled and immediately rose to her paws. She stepped out of her kennel, growling and barking at the bird perched on the rim of her food bowl until it flew away. "Stupid bird," she thought aloud. Approaching the food bowl, she scowled. "Now it probably has bird germs or something," she said to herself. She turned around and walked away from the food bowl, still obviously displeased with the fact that a bird was sitting on her food bowl.
Audrey's tail thumped on the light green grass. She pleasantly gnawed on a squeaky toy. Ears pulled back with a wide grin on her face, she was obviously amused with the toy. She continued to gnaw at the squeaky spiky ball, ignoring the barks and growls of another dog not too far away.
Roscoe stared up at the light blue sky. Amber eyes were filled with serenity and calmness. He eased his body lower into the grass into a comfortable lounging position. Taking one last glance at the clear blue sky, he closed his eyes and let out a relaxed sigh. "This..." he began, a satisfied tone in his voice. "is the life."
Tebow firmly grasped the large bone resting in his dog dish with his jaws and proudly walked out of the open gate of his kennel. He held his head high, ears perked straight up, with stubbed tail proudly wagging. Muscles rippled under jet black fur as the doberman strode towards the main pool.
