Kalea stretched and yawned, then nosed Flame awake. They'd somehow managed to end up near each other, which happened often.

Flame groaned and cover his eyes with his paws, not wanting to get up from his refreshing nap, but knew Kalea wouldn't stop nudging him until he did. He opened his eyes to the almost blinding light from the sun and stretched, still laying on his side. The large male yawned and slowly sat up, still squinting from the bright sun, shining in from their outdoor enclosure. He looked at Kalea "I'm up... Now what?" he said, standing up and stretching again. He flicked his tail and looked around. It had been at least a day since they had been fed last, so hopefully the handler would be by soon to give them something to eat.

Kalea nudged harder at the sleeping tom. "Flame!" she grumbled tiredly.

Flame laid back onto his side, eyes focused on the deals beside him "what? I'm awake. I'm just too lazy to sit up any longer." he said, stretching out his laws: the male snorted, yawning again. He was still wondering when food was going to arrive, but that was the least of his worries at the moment, he was going to figure out what was so important that Kalea had to wake him up. He looked over at her "what did you want?" he asked, flicking his tail as he laid there, eyes focused on her.

Kalea sighed and rolled onto her side. "Nothing. You just tend to be lazy sometimes, and I was bored." She could be such a cub sometimes, but life was more fun that way.

Flame chuckled, pawing at her face, being careful not to scratch her as he did so. He finally sat up and looked around again, sighing. All the other tigers around the facility were either pacing the fence, sleeping or romping around with their enclosure-mates. He flicked his tail, standing up and making his way towards the watering pool, and began taking a drink. It was awfully warm today, and it would most likely get warmer. Once finnished, he made his way back to his companion and flopped back down lazily, swatting Kalea's face with his tail and chuckling, poking fun at her, like she did with him, almost all the time.

Kalea chuffed and sat up, raising her forelegs off the floor and batting at him. Suddenly a door opened, and two huge hunks of meat were thrown in. She whirled around and playfully shielded them both with her back, giving a teasing hiss when he tried to reach for one.

Flame wasn't worried about the meat right now. He charged the door, leapin onto the fence, clawing out towards the man who gave them the meat, roaring loudly. He never did like the humans. He caused the man to jump. The large male let himself off the fence and walked back towards Jalea who was playing with by not lettin him get his meal. He playbowed and tackled her playfully, pawing at her face again. If she wanted to play the cub game, he could play it too.
