Anthea quietly padded through the forest. The shade of the canopy overhead protected her from the damaging rays above. She found her way through the end of the forest, reaching the river. She allowed her pupils to adjust to the sunlight before padding forward. Anthea crouched, her pink tongue lapping up droplets of the water.

Anatole huffed lightly to himself as the toad he was trying to capture hopped off, its slimy skin easily helping it out from under the wolf's paws. Anatole didn't feel too happy that day, but he decided to entertain himself with capturing a frog under his paws. Maybe a nice meal would do him good as well.

I lowered my head then raised it. 'Thank you Alaska. How is hunting for you?' I swiveled my ears and held my tail low. I stood straight, my eyes searching his as he spoke. I always noticed someones eyes before anything else.

"Don't know yet." Alaska replied. He sniffed the air again, this time smelling a doe in the area.

Cato quitely walked around , slipping through trees and stepping on the occasional twig , snapping it , causing him to jump. He could smell other wolves , and was sure he was headed in the right direction. He started to walk a little faster , then heard a noise behind him. He turned around , while he kept walking. Next thing he knew , he had ran into a bush , and got a few thorns stuck in his paws.
