Blaze was tempted to follow, but he was determined to let the pups to live to adopthood, so he stayed.

"Are you okay?" He wanted to follow her but knew she needed to be left alone. He looked at Kanti and gave a sad look and said, "Leave now. You have no need to be here."

She ran back home and looked at Blaze. "They died. Every single pup burnt." She curled around her pups and nuzzled them. "My pups will never die.."

"I guess I'm ok my bulett wound got worse"she started coughing from smoke inhaleation "we should all be leaving"

Blaze nuzzled her. "Oh course not..." he whispered in her ear.

Akira shook her head and started back to camp. She collapsed just outside of the border, whineing and crying.
