Kitamba--Healer--Fae--Single
Kitamba made a squawking sound, dipping rapidly back into her den as Songan approached, but as she watched his happy appearance bounding towards her, she peeked her head out once more, a small smile falling onto her muzzle.
"Good-...good morning, Songan!" she stammered, rising to her feet and shaking herself, her pelt fluffing out in an attempt to conceal her embarrassment. Even though he was small of stature, she was still smaller than he, and thus, intimidated by his size. She approached him cordially and pressed her cheek to his in a formal greeting, having to tip her head up to do so. Her tail moved back and forth, her yellow eyes blinking up at him innocently. From the corner of her periphery she could see Savage and Kichwa talking; Savage looking glum as ever, and Kichwa seeming to mirror his gaze somewhat. For a moment, she pondered what grim news they could be discussing, before flashing back to the matter at hand; she had a guest.
"I do hope you slept well, Songan. As monotonous as this rain is, it helps me to sleep somewhat, eheh." she stammered, a tiny, nervous laugh following her voice. She turned from him, motioning with her tail for him to follow.
"Please, do come in. I've made some morning tea...far too much for myself alone."
She trotted back into the den, stirring a brackish looking liquid with her paw that rested in the skull of a large animal. She leaned towards it, sniffing lightly.
"It may not look like much, but it's packed full of protein, with purpleflower [lavender] for taste. Please, try it." she mumbled, keeping her gaze averted from the male.
Savage~Beta~Brute~Single
Savage grunted, his flaming eyes turning to her in a gaze of concern. He licked his jowls thoughtfully, exposing his abnormally long canines inadvertently. He sighed, pawing idly at the dirt.
"Sleep...I used to remember what that was. I can't tell you how many nights I've stayed awake, choosing to patrol instead of bed down. Last night was better; I managed to squeeze in a couple of hours." he said lowly, turning his head to look at Shift, one of the fighters of the pack. He dipped his head lightly in greeting, before turning back to Kichwa. The pain in her eyes triggered an emotional disturbance within him, and though she was trying to smile, the aware brute could tell that his alpha was in greater strain than she let on. He rose to his feet and moved to sit beside her, the much larger, muscled brute nearly shadowing his smaller Alpha. He sat close enough so that she could feel his warmth, but not close enough to touch, as Savage was very wary about touching other wolvens.
"I think I know what might help." he rumbled, his ears and head lifting towards the forest. "Our food supplies are low. I say we gather together our hunters and fighters and organize a group hunting trip. We are stronger in numbers, and more ears and noses means that we can detect any humans or loners that may cross our path. This rain has a way of dampening the strongest of spirits. I think a hunting trip, as a pack, would be quite...healing for all of us. Like the stories, when food was plenty." he added wistfully, looking down at Kichwa with a brow raised.
