Midnight slowly watched as he came. "who are you? Why have you crossed my territory?" Midnight asked, wearily gazing at him. "are you a loner? Are you from the opposing pack?" she asked. She was worried, what if Akane pack had brought a spy? She sighed and sat. "I'm sorry, I'm being to strict"

"It's okay, I understand. I'm no spy.... I was actually looking for a pack..." he answered, looking at the beautiful sleek black female wolf. He met her gaze again and let it hold for 5 seconds then broke off looking at the ground. He pawed the wet earth. The leaves were rustling loudly, as if a harsh wind was blowing. The grass was still though, and a deer bounded through the forest. Faolen looked back up, hopefully as if she would ask him to join.

The female wolf thought for a minute. She closed her eyes and gave a sigh. "If you are in need of a pack, if you are willing to protect and be protected, Kage pack has many ranks open for a new wolf. If you are willing, you must submit to your new alpha. If you are not, leave at once and never return again" Midnight said sternly but softly. She stood high, growling softly and pushing his shoulders down with her paws. However, she did not snap, for she didn't want to seem too harsh.

Faolen nodded and said, "I will be willing to join your pack..." and he flattens his ears, has an arched back, with his tail tucked and submits. THe leaves flowed with the wind smoothly now, and the grass now breathed, like they were waiting for that moment. (Uh..... ._.) Faolen finally found a pack. And a beautiful leader as a side note.

Midnight smirked. "welcome, new fighter" she nodded approvingly. "I'm Midnight, and you are?" she asked, letting him stand on his own. Her eyes glowed a bit as she watched him.

Midnight couldn't help but laugh. She smiled. "yeah, but not many. You see this pack has just started. We're having much difficulty with prey." Midnight sighed. She began to walk off. "I should get back to my job, you go ahead and do whatever you want" she muttered.

Faolen backed up. Well she was antisocial. He walked off to find a fish or two, maybe a buffalo or moose. He learned that if ya wanna impress your boss/alpha, ya gotta show 'em that your capable of bringing a big creature down. He found a herd of moose to the far right of the river and a herd of buffalo far 'way on the left side of the river. Intresting, he thought. Buffalo or moose, moose or buffalo. Okay fish.
