He seems nice... Kenji thought, her ears percked up a bit when she noticed him looking around. She didn't reply to his comment when he said his name, instead she watched him curiously. She lowered herself a little when he asked about her parents. She was thinking about just running, but then she desided against it. This wolf could just be wondering, so she took the chance. "I'm not sure... they could be anywhere..." She said in a lower than normal vioce. She made sure to word it so it sounded like they could just be off not far from her, even though in reality she hadn't even met her parents. She wouldn't tell him that, well unless he asked something to that effect.

Soul slightly flattened his ears as her tone of voice changed. He quickly shook it away and gave the young pup a curious glance. "Anywhere as in your lost or anywhere as in you have no idea if they're alive" he said in a much gentler and softer voice, as if just mention that brought him pain. Soul found himself no longer making eye contact with the pup and instead rememebering his past. Shutting his eyes quickly, he regained himself and turned to look at her once more. "Also, what may your name be?"

"Of course Fallen" Elk replied to the other female, glancing at the pitiful level of herbs she sighed, "May the gods prevent any bad fights, we can't afford them." With a gentle smile the brown she-wolf moved to stand beside the head healer and added, "This place seems to be very fertile though, thank goodness all the snow is melting, some flowers may even be springing up in a few weeks!" her warm eyes glowed with happiness.

Kenji looked from Soul's eyes to the ground and back again, "Well, I, uh... I don't know..." Her voice was quiet with just a hint of being scared in her voice. She was a little nervous, but she didn't want to look weak, so she pushed her feelings away and acted strong. I can't show fear... I just can't... She thought as she looked up at the tall wolf. Her ears again shifted when he asked her name, she paused still unsure. After a moment or two she answered. "Kenji." She said.
She was getting cold standing her not moving, her small stature shaking ever so slightly. Kenji faught off the urge to shake and show that she was cold.

Soul flattend his ears as the pup admitted she truely didn't know where they were. He then nodded as she told him her name. "Is nice to meet you Kenji" he said sitll not forgetting about what she said. Taking a seat, Soul looked at the pup trying not to show sympathy but he truely felt it. "Well... would you like me to help you search?" he offered, not sure if she would accept. Before catching her answer, he heard scuffling in the bushes and instinctively dropped into a hunters crouch. On silent paws he slinked forward and for a moment disappeared into the bushes to seconds later appear with a squirming rabbit in his jaws. Soul gave a violent shake of his head and it went limp. Then he approached Kenji and set it down, "Here, eat" he said gently, already knowing she must be hungry.

"Im glas to have you on board" Fallen said giving her companion a warm smile. She then turned and began walking, one ear tilted backwards to hear what Elk was saying. "I agree, a battle it what could ruin it at this current moment" she said with a hint of worry showing in her tone. "But spring is copming soon and we will be able to stock up quickly" Fallen said smiling and heading into the woods, turning her head back once to make sure the other healer was following.

Kenji shook her head, she didn't give a reason as too why she didn't want him to help. Kenji tensed when Soul crouched down, for a moment she though he was going to attack her. She was ready, but then he went into the bushes. She gave a confussed look and looked into the bushes, only to have Soul come out with a rabbit. She backed up again when he came out of the bushes. She felt her body slunk back when Soul came close to her, then she eased when he set down the rabbit in front of her. Normally she wouldn't eat it, but Kenji hadn't eaten in a few days, if she didn't eat now then she could quite possible die which wasn't an option. She moved closer to the rabbit, but then stopped and looked up at Soul. "...Thank you..." She said in a quiet voice. Then she began eating the rabbit, it tasted amazing.

Soul nodded to the younger wolf and he sat about two rabbit hops away from her. Curiousity filled his eyes and he wanted to pester the pup with question such as Where did you come from? or Do you have any siblings? but instead he let her enjoy her meal. Soul gave her a small smile and waited for her to finish. "Uh Kenji" he said a bit unsure of how she would react to his next question. "Would you like to come back with me to my pack?" he asked a bit afraid that if he left her she might not surived.

Kenji looked up from the rabbit, she was surprised, scared, and so many other emotions. She thought for a moment, I can't join a pack... but... but what if I just stayed there for a while... I don't see the harm in just staying there for a bit. This wolf seems nice, maybe his pack will left me just stay a while... She thought and got a little excited, but then she had a flashback of something that had happened before. All excitment and happiness that was there for that short time disapeared. She shook her head sadly, and didn't look up at him as she spoke. "I can't join a pack... I just can't..." Her voice faded. Her blue eyes filled with pain as she remembered past events with other packs.
